I just got back from Milwaukee tonight. My friends and I went to the "Safe House" (its a bar/resturant). It has been known that this is a place where the Goo's go in Milwaukee, and I have always wanted to go there after finding that out. It was so much fun, it is a spy themed bar. We were walking through the place and I found a picture of John(saying that he was a very important operative, i guess you have to go to the bar to really understand). Now call me obsessed, but I grabbed my cell phone and snapped a picture of it. If anyone plans on going to Milwaukee, I would say go to this bar/resturant, it makes for a really GOOd time.

I've always wanted to go there! When I lived closer to Milwaukee, I wasn't old enuff. :'(

I have seen pix of a SafeHouse sticker on John's guitar strap. I would DIE to see the picture you took with your cell phone!! :o

Cool,I always wondered what that was on his guitar strap,from a distance it looked like a burger. ::)

Safehouse is AWESOME!!!! My girlfriends & I were there back in August. We went there the night before the Brew-Ha.

I'm wondering... did you talk to this one waiter guy... (at least I think he was a waiter, perhaps more a host or something) but he had this story about John going to house & partying etc etc with some other details! We heard him tell that story not only to us (about 4 times) but to anyone else that would listen! It wa hilarious!

I'm from Milwaukee (not living there at the moment unfortunately :( ), and I LOVE the Safe House. It used to be a speakeasy during Prohibition...that's why they still make you give a password (or pass an initiation) to enter. The nude burt reynolds picture in the bathroom is fun as well ;-)

The tragic thing is, I FINALLY got to go back to Milwaukee about a month ago (when the goo goo dolls were performing for the miller 150th anniversary). I was ready to "stalk" them at the safe house, but I had TO LEAVE THE DAY BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE. Just one of the many things that makes me want to go back there to stay...

OMG, the burt reynolds poster! ROFL... funny story, but we didn't realize that it was supposed to "slide" open... we thought it was a button or something! LOL what doofuses we were! LOL �i "pushed" the heart like a button... and i'm thinking.. ok, nothing happened! LOL

yeah, our friend Erin (who had been there before) convienently forgot to tell us the password. we stood there doing all these muscle man poses! LOL �i figured out the password though... can't tell it though! :naughty: �LOL

btw, did you leave by the phone booth? or see the turning booth? also, Erin & Paula bought me a special drink that included being interrogated! LOL

I was there that night too, but not until after 11 pm. �We got an 'insider's tour' and it was fun going back with a friend and entering through the booth. �Not to mention the grand exit we got to take. �There are a lot of 'ins and outs' if you need a quick exit.

Babs - the password is on a picture on the wall and also on their 'code' beer glasses if you want to buy one of those.

hmm.. now i'm wondering if i figured the password out because where i saw it was the ceiling!

oh well, doesn't matter really, you'll eventually get into the place with password or not password!

i was at the safe house after 11pm... i think it was about midnight or a bit after that we went back. we were cruising to see if anyone showed up... if they did, we didn't see them! oh well
