does anyone know what the goo's are worth(pricless i know lol) but really, just how rich are they? i wouldnt know where to start guessing..

That's a hard one...cuz they went bankrupt once when they were successful? Plus, they don't seem that materialistic...they seem like money is irrelevant to their lives..it's just something to put food on the table.

I be surprised if they thread is not locked cuz the mods were very strict about personal questions. This is a very strict forum!

why do you want to know? they make their living in the music industry as a successful rock band so they're bound to be pretty rich. it shouldn't matter exactly how rich they are if you ask me.

For as long as they have been around they at least have a few million.... or even more...

But like someone said they arent materialistic and go around looking like some hollywood celebrity that has a lot of money... if you know what i mean...

however it breaks down, john gets more because he wrote the singles, which means he gets the $$$ when the songs play on the radio.

yeah i agree with all of you.....and i did not say it mattered to me how rich they were, if none of thier songs never got onto the billboard countdown i would still listen to them...

Well, the band gets a small percentage for every album sold, and probably larger perentages for every ticket/t-shirt/hat/jewelry/poster/other merchandise items . . . from what I've heard, most of their profits come from touring, not album sales. Then even after all the profits are earned, they have to pay all the people in the industry (promoters, managers, designers, roadies, technicians, et al.) that made it possible before it is again divided among the band members.

At least, that is just the impression I've gotten.

I didn't really think this topic was all that personal. An income is related to your job and if this topic was doing anything interesting I'd leave it open. But since it has dissolved to trying to figure out ulterior motives of other members of the board and there's a popular demand to close the thread, it's locked now.
