I love it of course and i hope it will do awseomely and if people don't like they are just freaken crazy and i have faith that it will do well :shines:

not many ppl really like slow songs as the first single, but you never know.. it will most likely make the charts but from what i hear not like iris, iris is a hard song to beat.. but if it does than i stand corrected.. i just have to hear the full thing in order for me to like it or dislike it.. but from what i hear its really good

:thinkin: It's difficult to judge the song from only 34 seconds...I mean you get the general idea, but I don't think I'd be able to say if I think it'll sell loads or be really popular from listening to the clip we have right now.

Nonetheless, the overall feeling I get is that I like it. ;) It's quite catchy and sounds like it's got a really positive message to it - I can definitely see it being a Christmas song. But at the same time, it sounds quite slow and I can't tell which way it'll fall - whether it'll become like a stadium anthem (lighters aloft, everyone singing along) or fade into the crowd of general slow rock songs.

I hope it does well, then maybe they'll release it in the UK! ;D :woohoo: :woohoo:

i think i have to hear more before i can give a good opinion. i remember, the first time i heard Here is Gone i didn't like it. but before you throw that very large shoe in my direction, now i love it! new songs, especially by an artist that i really like, always take awhile to grow on me. . . ;D

Please don't take this the wrong way 'cuz I don't want anyone to capitalize on a disaster... but don't you think this song could be really powerful against the back drop of what's happening in New Orleans???

I've only heard the few lyrics everyone has but
A CHANCE THAT MAY WE'LL FIND BETTER DAYS
and
BECAUSE TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT THE WORLD BEGINS AGAIN..

Just seems to me everyone has to be reminded that Better Days is in store for everybody...

Anyway. sorry to go on and on. I really like the song.

It's a good song...but very hard to get grasp of it with a few seconds. It's one of them songs u have to hear in its entirety. It's kinda like on the same level as name and I think most ppl can't really say that it's the shizzle with 34 seconds..but when u hear the whole "name"...it's great. I think it's a hit !!
