Hey folks.. I just got a tattoo.. I'll post actual pics when I heal.. but this is the image I got:

I took the original in Buffalo.. and modified it with photoshop.. pretty bad a$$ed if you ask me.

Wow that is too cool 8) i love that i can't wait to get my GOO tat. I'm not sure what i'm gonna get yet i'm thinkin about the Gutterflower!! I love the one you just got!!! maybe i'll get one somethin like that!!!!!

Are you talking about the Piccaso painting "Dream"?? I love that it looks really neat!!! I like the Thinker one too!! I'll love all his tatoos and Robby's i haven't seen Mike's !!!

I got it on my right arm, it's about 4 or 5 inches tall and 3 in wide.. It was bleeding pretty good last night.. but it's better now.. just stings..

yeah, the one part on john's leg...  and of couse the shirt area, that's a lot of inking to get done! *ouch* �brave you! �;)

LOL did it numb all the nerve ending when filling in? LOL

i know the only time my tat really hurt was when it went over my backbone.  the next tat i get will have more inking, and again, it's going on my back and it'll go over the bone.  i dread that, but that's where i want it! LOL

oh my, that is absolute awsomeness!!  makes me want another tattoo.  i've already got 2, one is the Gutterflower on my ankle.  my sis has drawn out this great tat for me, but she doesn't like it so she's gonna re-draw it.  *sigh*  can't wait to see the real thing. . . ;D

I was talking about the Thinker. I love that tatoo. The Piccaso one would probaly cost way to much.

Only if John was personally tattooing me would that ever happen!  Of course it would be a full body tattoo session that would take years for him to complete.....  then of course he'd have to quit his day job...OK, for the sake of his music career I guess I'll give up that dream, I won't get the tattoo... :hahaha:

hehehe! :D :D :D i might get a small logo on my lower back when i'm of age(no need to panic mommy! ;))but then again my cousin has the name Axl(as in Axl Rose from GNR)tattooed on her arm and she's alreayd had it lightned a few times but it don't look much different to me.

I have two Gooey tattoos. �One is the DUTG heart on the calf of my right leg.
The other is the GF logo with some other greenery to the side on my lower back.

Thanks everyone. Sorry I haven't replied (much) to this yet. I've been in Milwaukee for the past couple of days .. at the Brew-Ha.. getting brew-ha'd.. and I dont return to Austin, TX (Where my camera is) until the 27th. I will post actual pictures of my tattoo as soon as I can. I am as anxious to show everyone my tattoo as everyone seems to be to see it.. so I'll try not to doddle. This picture was taken in Buffalo NY on July 4th 2004 during the interlude of Cuz You're Gone.. I used photoshop's stamp function and cleared up the image a little bit to use this as a tattoo. I chose this image, because I believe it embodies the whole spirit of my trip from Milwaukee, WI to Buffalo, NY.. This picture was by far the best one that turned out that night, besides one I got of Robby screaming and pounding his bass. The whole night seemed magical to me.. still a bit surreal.. I managed to meet them, stay inconspicuous back stage, and have a great time at the concert. Some way.. some how.. the forces were with me that day.. I wrote to goo about it.. letting them hear my appreciation.. I hope that they've read it.

Anygoo, I'll try not to be ignorant about the actual picture (on my right arm) and getting it posted to this board. However, it won't be available until after the 27th. Thanks for your interest.

Well, 2 years ago I was in NC and I had decided to get a tattoo. I got the gutterflower on my ankle(how typical,right) but I changed up the colors a bit so it is not the exact as the cover art . I actually got the tattoo the day before the On The Bricks show that I was lucky enough to go to.( and I still made it to the rail :) )

kinggoo45: how the hell did you manage to get that close and backstage? I wanted to wait by the buses afterwords, but security was tight. It was a great night though, wasn't it.

niki_u_goo: After security booted everyone (including me) out for the soundcheck, a few construction (on the outdoor amphitheatre) workers strolled by with a handful of backstage passes they apparently had lifted from a box.  They wanted $50 for them, and it just so happened I had a 50$ bill ready.  No one else wanted to buy one, becaues they didn't believe that they were real -- and it was too expensive.  But, I gambled and even shot the shit with a bunch of the workers there, too.  As far as getting so close during the concert; I jumped over the railing after Ani Difranco's set..there are some people I met that allowed me to hop in behind them.. who managed to get up to first row.  Unbelieeeeeeeevable day.  I will never forget it.

islandmixradio.com: It's not actually really all that painful.  It's not comfortable--don't get me wrong.. but I just think of it as a paper clip rubbing over your skin.. if you decide to get one, just get someone to talk to you.. it'll supress the pain..
