Thanks, guys! I really appreciate the birthday greetings. It was a pretty low key day for me but a few nice things came out of it. I had to work so my DH got his co-workers to sing "Happy Birthday" for me through the speaker phone and my brother and his girlfriend sent me a beautifully harmonized version via our family blog. Got some nice gifts, too. Tomorrow, DH and I are taking in a movie and eating Maryland crabs - yum!

It's a little bittersweet this year - it's the first b-day since my mom and my cat died. My cat's birthday is tomorrow. She would have been 20. I'm such a sentimental old fool. Let that be a warning to all you youngsters - after 40 it's just a mush-fest.
