i was thinking last night...what if the goo goo dolls fans of this website recorded themselves singing goo songs, and then sent it to them? i would definatly be interested.....so....AM i crazy and what are your views on this idea?

No your not crazy Peronally i think it's a cool idea i think the guys would enjot that!!!! :) And it would be an oppertunity to give the guys a cool message after your done singing i think that would be really neat!!!!And it would tell them how much we love their music when we sing their songs!!!! I think they would like that!!!!

i would love to do that!even though they would probably die if they heard me sing,i tend to sing low so that Johnny's voice drowns mine out but i still sing because i love to!but i just don't want anyone to hear!but still that's a great idea,i would love to do that.

that's not a crazy idea. it could be fun. :) i wouldn't do it myself but that's just because i don't know how to play guitar and it'd be a bit odd to just sing their songs without music backing it up. i only know of two guys around here that know how to play guitar and i'm not sure they'd do this kind of thing for me. i definitely think it'd be interesting and fun to do though. i'd be even more interested to see what the Goos' reaction would be. :)

They've already heard me sing, and it isn't pretty!
I can't help but sing along at concerts, and having been in front row on several occasions, I've gotten some looks from the guys. John looked at me and laughed once during Sympathy because he was singing the wrong lyrics and I was singing the right ones. ;)

Hey hey im a new user here! So helloooo everybody!Your idea seems pretty kool! I can sing and play the guitar, my band covers Slide :P though no one can pull it off like the Goo's

ok, so i'm not crazy!! let's do it then...i don't know how to play guitar either, but i bet i could find the music in imesh/ares or something.....I dibs broadway ((or as john would say 'Broad-a-way))LOL :)

wel i won't be able to sing it by myself i have to have johnny singing along too along wiht robby and mike.so i would have to sing along with a cd. :-/ sorry.oh and welcome to the board Shauny,you'll be addicted in no time!

And I think the idea of recording one of their songs and sending it in would be a great idea - definitely something to keep us all going in this Goo-drought. :P I think I'll spare them the agony of hearing ME sing, though. But good luck to any of you sending them something! :thumbsup:

we can all record ourselves and then send the recordings to me and i would burn them.....we and my friend are doing broadway and im doing name or iris
