i heard that thier new CD was rescheduled to be realeased in the spring of 2006...is this true?>!?!! i will be so pee'd off..

GOO GOO DOLLS HAPPY WITH PRODUCER CHANGE

After using Rob Cavallo to produce its last three albums, the Goo Goo Dolls have tapped Alanis Morissette and Aerosmith producer Glenn Ballard to work on the trio's next album. The group and Ballard will enter the recording studio on July 25th, and the Goos' Johnny Rzeznik told us he enjoyed the pre-production process with Ballard: "It's been great. You know, I'm really enjoying it. I mean, getting a different opinion into the mix, you know what I mean. I'm doing a little bit of the writing with him. But mostly you know, mostly we've just been working on tightening up the arrangements, getting the vocal melodies right."

Rzeznik said the group hopes to have the album finished this year and out in early 2006.

It will be the Goo Goo Dolls' first studio album since Gutterflower in 2002. Last year the group released the concert album and DVD Live In Buffalo: July 4, 2004, which featured a hit cover of Supertramp's "Give A Little Bit."

You guys... think about it, it takes them like 6 months or more, and they started in july... so it will at least be early 2006, if not later.

i knew it was going to be some time in 2006.gosh i've been saying the past year or so i'm going to a concert next year,told all my friends haven't gone yet.i'm getting impateint they really do need to update,but i assume they're really taking their time so if they are they're doing a good job(not that they wouldn't)but it's well worth the wait.

i'm a bit bummed if we've still got a long wait, but it actually gives me time to get my stuff together! graduate and save up some money for all those road trips i know i'm gonna be taking. . . ;D

i know the only thing that keeps me from crying and whining about it is all the money.i have saved up quite a bit of money for extra stuff,my mom's got the ticket money all taken care of! ;)(more like over 1,000 dollars! :nanner: :cucumber: :carrot: :pepper: )plus i'm sure i have about 60-70 dollars in my frog banks! :pepper: :carrot: :nanner: :cucumber:

it will be worth the wait, but its a pretty long wait!!lol....hopefully after this they will release another CD soon after, like in 2008 or maybe even 2007..

I don't have a girlfriend...but if my calculations are right...the album will be out by my not yet born son's 3rd birthday..hehe.

Guys, just don't bother anymore or anything. When it comes out, it comes out. Just something u gotta accept by being a goo fan.
