Hi guys guess what i read on this site i found it was talking about the Goo's new album and Johnny said it will come out in 2006 and that they were going back in the studio on 7/25 and they will also tour in 2006!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOO far away i just can't wait!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I HIGHLY doubt a fall release. I just don't see it being finalized and happening within the given time. I'd say Spring 2006 for the release date and a Summer tour.

I wish artists would let their fans know like a month or two ahead when the due date actually is, so that we don't feel like we're waiting so long. Ignorance is bliss. :)

Yeah i don't know wht i was so thrilled yesterday i guess and i do hope it wasn't true cuz i was counting on that fall release!!!!!!!! :'(

They usually do. Unfortunately, any hope of knowing a release date sometime soon is out of the question. No one, not even the artist, can be sure of the date until the recording and mixing are both completed. There's alot more than just recording that goes into making a great record.

this sucks for me.but the only good way to look at it is that the longer i have to wait the more money i'll have for souviners and t-shirts and that kind of thing.

Much as I hate to say it, if it was going to be a fall release, the album would be finished by now. Bon Jovi's new CD is coming out in late September, the music is done (they have to do the publicity photos and stuff yet), it's titled, and they're starting to do the early publicity for it. OH, and the tour is following later fall. All that info is out & official. Goo would be in the same boat if they were ready for a fall release. It's gonna be at least winter, more likely spring. :(
