Title: I'm off to go have surgery... Post by Eva on Jul 19th, 2005, 6:31pm my health probs continue � ::) �it's the gallbladder these days... i have to have it removed... it's got a bunch of sludge in it. i haven't experienced pain like this since having natural child birth �lol i'm not sure when i'll be back cause i don't know how the recovery goes, you know? it's in and out surgery is all i know for sure. maybe 2 weeks or less? so please direct all your probs to the WOG Cop or MFC �( [email protected] ). it looks like WOG Cop is in here for the long haul :D now for drama queen stuff... if i die... lol... please know that running this site has all been for you guys since day 1... i haven't been able to do what i really want to do with the site, but i hope i can... or someone else will... eventually. you guys rock... you and the goos make it worth running. it's quite the learning experience. see ya guys soon... � |

It was so full it looked like a gumball machine. They were almost in fear of doing the surgery cuz it was so full. But they took it and I felt so much better. I had the extreme pains in my back and center of ribs, like extreme heartburn. They say when your having the pain it's when your passing a stone. I was so extreme I was passing out... vomitting and everything during the attacks! The recovery the day of and after was minor soreness. Three small pencil eraser size holes just below the left rib cage area. I was back up and doing normal activity in three days. Have a pillow ready for laughing, sneezing, coughing ~etc. That was the hardest part. Good luck! |

The gallbladder fiasco was much more painful than having those kids! Of course it didn't help much that it totally collapsed the night before surgery, so when they began they didn't find what they expected inside, dropped gallstones that had to then be 'passed', keeping me in the hospital for a few days instead of just an outpatient surgery. Not a fun experience by any stretch of the imagination. My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery dear. |

I had mine out a few years back and it made me feel a lot better. I was pretty sore for about 5 days, couldn't lift heavy stuff for about 1 month. Post by Eva on Sep 17th, 2005, 1:13am i would just cry and cry... i get really depressed when i'm ill. the pain makes you delirious too... the night i went to the emergency room i was so confused from the pain... it's hard to explain where the brain goes exactly. anyways... i do not like oxycodone... that's nasty shit � :P �after they gave me several doses of phentenol after surgery, they said no more of that.. i guess i was having too good a time � :redtongue: �::) �and they gave me oxy... everything went downhill from there on. i have an ulcer and oxy did a number on my gut... i was on fire. so they give me this nasty, nasty SOUR as a lemon stuff for it and that's when the nausea kicked in � >:( �let me tell ya... trying to throw up after that surgery was murder... i couldn't even cry with going into throws of pain from hell. all that carbon dioxide or monoxide that they pump your abdomen full with (they do that so that they can see all your organs.. and they pull away so that the surgeon can work in there better.. for those that don't know) .. i had so much pain from that the first 3 days. but what i was gonna respond to was that you're lucky you got eraser size scars, bbg... mine are bigger... there's 3... the one by my stomach is a little more than an inch, the one by ribs is the smallest.. eraser head size, and the one in belly button is an inch. i had major soreness. wow... 3 days? �:o �you're quite a woman �lol �it took me a few weeks to be totally done with it all. thanks for all well wishes � :D on 07/20/05 at 09:07:24, blessed_by_goo wrote:
