My commute home consisted of 14 1/2 �hours of travel time. ::) �Left for the airport at 10:00 am Monday morn, no problem. �Had 2 1/2 hour layover in Charlotte, no problem. �My connecting flight was at 4:00 and guess what? �I get bumped because I fly standy (so I cannot complain too much!) because of hurricaine Dennis there were alot of flights cancelled over the weekend which left no open seats for this standby girl. �BIG PROBLEM! �The next flight to Jackson, MS isn't for another 5 �hrs and 45 min. �

Now under normal circumstances, I would be totally hatin' life right about now, but seein' how I was still on the Goo high from Sundays incredible concert...it was all good! �And wouldn't ya know, right after I found out I was gonna be waiting another almost 6 hrs to get home I go the �gift shop and get a book to read and guess what song comes on the radidio? �GALB !!! OK, this is a good sign, I can handle this ;D

But that's not all. �We finally board on time for the 9:45 flight and one of the freakin' engines won't start. �So we have to de-plane, wait for maintenance to come and fix the problem. � Another 30 mins goes buy. � By this time me and the guy I was seated next to are headed to the bar for a tall cool one. �We get back on the plane and are finally on our way. �

Oh, I forgot to mention I live 90 miles from the Jackson airport...by the time I got home it was 1:45 am. �

Oh what we to thru for GOO :love:

wow! you weren't a kiddin' when you said you had travel day from hell! LOL

i know... most of the stuff i didn't mind because i kept saying to myself "i was front row. i was front row" and that would make it all better! LOL

wow sounds like you've had a bad day!mine isn't exactly a fairy tale i burnt my right hand with boiling hot water and now i'm typing and operating the mouse with my left hand which is a real pain in the butt!and if i take my hand out of the water for longer than thirty seconds it's starts burning really bad!
