I just saw something about a Goo performance on the PGA Golf Champions thing on CBS.....so I guess they are gonna give a concert?! Woohoo!

It's the Dearborn Show everyone has been planning! � ;D

I was JUST about to make a post. �It was cool, they said "A really large gallery here today....lots of people here to see the Goo Goo Dolls who are performing at the conclusion of play". �Then they showed their guitars (two of John's I think) and stuff..it was so cool to see the guitar picks stuck to the guitars...just waiting for them to play. �*giggle*

Made me all happy just to see that....I can't wait to hear all about it!! �

Reminded me when I was in Atlanta and could see the guitar racks, all set up to go.

Good for the Goos to get the mention on CBS!! � ;D

No...sadly it isn't televised. The Golf Tournament was, it was the PGA Senior Players Championship but the concert was after play ended and they went off the air.

They were just teasing us by talking about it. LOL It was actually kind of cute because the winner - Peter Jacobsen is actually an amateur musician...he used to play in a band while he was on the PGA Pro tour. So they commentators asked him if he was going to get on stage with the Goo Goo Dolls and he laughed and said "No way....they are professionals!" ;D

So, no....no TV but a few mentions for them...which is a good thing. :love:

that was a tease! i was like, oo my lucky day, i didn't even know about this till i heard them mentioned....but alas, it was not to be. sigh.....

well yes i suppose it was exciting to hear their name ;D
