so what did yall do?

here's a funny... we had like a block party in the neighborhood blowing off fireworks for 2 hours sunday night. this guy... Bobby... he goes running up and down the street with his pants down (he had his boxers on), singing that "la la lala la lalala" patriotic tune, carrying this huge lit fountain stick �lmao �

I just got back from seeing fireworks and I spent the entire evening going "A year ago we were...."

~ Standing in the pouring rain..
~ Waiting for the Goo Goo Dolls to come out....
~ Singing in the pouring rain WITH them....

*sigh* Yeah..missing them badly but swimming in memories (pun intended - LOL).

I just kept wondering if maybe they were thinking and feeling the same things. John, Robby, Mike...saying to each other "Hey, John...remember when we started Broadway and the confetti started blasting and suddenly there was Mike....yeah....that was cool!" hee hee Well, I choose to think that they surely did....maybe they watched LIB too. ;D

The 4th of July will always hold an even more special memory for me. Happy 4th to you all. Yes..I know it's almost over but hey....the celebration lives on.

** Just as a side note, we probably spent 40 minutes taking a shuttle to see the fireworks and waited over an hour to get one back to our car.....TOTALLY worth it for the 23 minute celebration of freedom in fireworks! God Bless America!! **
