So excited!!! I've been listening to LIB for the past week to get ready! It's kind of funny that we're getting so excited and they are only started to record...but at least that's something. It's going to be insane when the CD actually comes out!

yes... it is mostly remixing and stuff, but it does count as a studio album...

I have been goofy about this all day.  I kept telling people like it was a promotion or birth announcement.  LOL  *blush* People just look at  me like I am nuts.   ;D  It is hard to make people understand that it just makes me happy to know that somewhere in the world....new Goo songs exist.  *sigh*  :drama:

Oh...and it makes me happy to know there are other people who get that.  :grouphug:

Yeah I'm excited and it's scaring me.

Cuz after the excitement of knowing they're starting the recording, I will have to endure the excitement of waiting for the recording to complete, then waiting for the release of the new record, then the time the first single hits the airwaves, then the time I actually get to hear the single/buy the record (whichever happens earlier).

I'm quite a junkie, ain't I?  ;D

How long does recording take usually? I mean should we expect an album around september?

Cant wait to hear new material. �:D :D :D

My other fav band HIM have been recording since april/may 2005 and are releasing their new album around end of september 2005 - so its taken them 4/5 month to record the new album - so if goo start now it probably wont be released until autumn - maybe sep/october 2005- maybe earlier??? - im hoping...but realisticaly it may take more time...
what do u guys think. �Wish i could just go tomorrow and buy it!!! and hear it....

How long the cd will take until released depends on many things.  If they are starting recording just now, I would assume the soonest we could expect anything would be in the fall.

you have to consider how many tracks may be on the album... ??  There are many recordings for each song... the songs will have to be mixed... which could be quick or it could take a while, which i assume depends on this Mr. Glen Ballard guy...

CD art has to be considered... we dont know if it has been chosen (or at least i dont)...

you have to consider the time to actually make all the cds, ship them out....

any pre-release promo work... the release and success of the first single if released prior to cd release date could effect when the full cd is released....

it could be a while..... id say october/november at soonest.....

(No complaints about sooner release though!!!!!)


At least the goos wont go broke mid recording.  :)
