rate on scale from 1-10..10 being very popular, 1 being not popular...

for my town, a small town in Nova Scotia(canada ROCKS)
the goo's are about a 6.5..becasue of me!! lol

I say an 8.5 here in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I'm not kidding when I say this ... at least three times a day if you change from station to staion GALB is playing. In between there's always Goo songs on the radio too.

i'm gonna have to go for a 7 because there are 2 stations in my city that are extremely Goo friendly. . .they play their older stuff and are still playing the hell out of Give A Little Bit. . . ;D

I'm gonna go with an 8. 4 stations that I know of are goo friendly...and I have seen people in Massachusetts with Goo related licence plates. :D

1... they were popular with Iris once but unfortunately there's only one radio station that plays other songs beside Iris and i've only met one fan like me :(

it's latin america people... it sucks :-[

I'm gonna go with 5. I live in a pretty ghetto fabulous county (Prince George's in MD), so mostly it's rap and r&b that are big around here. But there are stations that play Goo and other rock. Most of my friends know all their radio songs but don't kno who sings them, and when I tell them, they're pretty surprised.

I'm gonna have to go with an 8-9 here in Detroit. Just about every type station plays them from alternative to top 40 to best of 80s, 90s & today type stations, and lite rock. It's great!

prolly about 0.5-1!that's sad.i know of only one other person that likes goo!that's my friends cousin.oh and my mom of course.down here in NC everyone likes either rap or country!so i'm kinda a misfit!but at the middle school some of my brothers friends like ac dc and metallica megadeath ozzy osbourne stupid metal crap!

i don't know how popular the Goos are in my town. according to the radio stations from cinci, i'd say about a 4. :'( i try...i talk about them and blast their music. i request their music. nothin's working. it sucks! >:(

Where I live it's a 1 o 2 at best...it's Mississippi man! Still hearing GALB and occasionally Iris but thats about it. Their in a time warp here, still lovin' Stevie Wonder, etc!

i request goo all the time but you know nothigns working.usher overrules everything else in north carolina!it sucks here!we have to have uniforms nobody has heard of goo.the only good thing about this state is the beach!and everyone down here has a strange accent see i'm from missouri so i talk completely different.

I'd say 1 or 2. It seems like everyone's forgotten about them. They're never on the radio...maybe it's just Florida.

well here in uk they r virtually unknown...if they promoted their stuff a bit more i'm sure they'd become so much more popular but they don't seem to bother...but there are definitely plenty of british fans about, just dotted around the nation...not many here in my town for sure.

Probably about a 2, and that's awful since I live 100 miles west of Buffalo! There just isn't any radio station that has a format that "fits" the Goos anymore. Across the lake in Canada (I can get a lot of their stations here), I hear Goo on those stations all the time!

Probably about a 5 here in northern Wisc. I request them a lot and they DO play them. But I often find myself traveling 5+ hours to see them in the "bigger" cities... :-/

Well here in SE WI I would say only 1 station is ADDICTED to Goo and they play GGD ALL THE TIME! So for the 1 station I would give them a 10!!!!!!!! :glasses:

I'd give my town a 5.3 because i am trying my hardest, but still some people in my town still haven't heard of them*crazy aint it*. I am getting them more involved, esp the radio statoins and give a little bit. I even got Iris on the other day, so i'm working on it.

hmmmmm this is a hard one, i'd say from my point of view in Brisbane, Australia --- about a 3.....

like their old stuff gets occasional play on mainstream radio (eg. Slide, Iris) but the new stuff doesn't get played much, if at all.

a lot of people only know the goo goo dolls here for 'that city of angels song'

Having been following their career, and fanbase in Australia since DUTG days, I would have to say that out of the 3 major capitals on our east coast - Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne - I'd say that Melbourne has the dominant amount of fans.

When I travelled the M-One tour and went from Brissy, to Syd and then on to Melb, the most fans I met up with that were specifically Goo fans, were all in Melbourne.

Thankfully radio airplay is still pretty strong here in Sydney. Mix 106.5 FM is spinning "Give A Little Bit" every day, and the other major commercial stations are still spinning "Iris", "Slide" and "Name".

What would be nice is if Aussie fans could set up their own sort of homebase where those that are really keen into the band can meet up with other fans.

Ok, now this may come as a shock....even though the goo's are always here because they partly live here and do a lot of publicity here in Los Angeles, California, L.A. doesn't play them obsessively. I'd say a.....7 in popularity....there's this one station 104.3 that plays the mainstream stuff of today and yesterday (LOL that's what I call it, all the stuff you hear and you're like oh yeah, I remember that song! LOL) and they will play Iris and GALB at least once a day. Kiss FM (102.7) is one of the biggest radio stations here and they don't play goo everyday....it's really sad....maybe a song every few days for a request....but that station sounds so much like the same music over and over and over :drama: AGAIN....

Now If I can only request enough to get the goos back on that rotation.....but maybe it's a good thing that they're not always played like that.....then they'd become a "played out" band.....hmmm...something to think about....

I'm in So. CA...nearer San Diego...and I'd have to give this one horse town I live in a big 1...except last weekend my husband saw a Goo license plate of the fwy...so even if that person was just passing through, I guess I'd give us a 2. Kinda sad...but I'm keeping the fire burning...and the orthopedist who treated my son's broken foot knew the blonde guitar player who plays with them on tour, sorry, don't know his name.
