it was a good movie...dunt kno why i starting this now..i dont know why she was riding a bike hands free with her eyes close...i get it but WTF was she thinking???TP was an awsome movie mtoo..

I was thinking the same thing - i was watching the movie last weekend and when Meg did that i said to my bro 'oh please,if i ride my bike like that down the mountain side i will be holding both handles -i wouldnt be THAT carefree hehehehe'. It was sad that she died,
cos ive said it before and as John says in 'iris' nic the angel did give up forever to be with her.
I found the story to be beautiful - come on - finding a true love - dont know if that can happen in REAL life - but i hope to.
Hey, the song are amazing in that film,
Obviosly IRIS, but Alanis 'UNIVITED' and the song 'I GRIEVE' are so moving - especially when that song plays when nic character goes to the market and buys pears but nearly cries- when im sad i cry at that point cos hes lost his true love but when im not sad it kinda makes me laugh and say 'oh please its only pears - why u cryin' heheheh,
Does any of the parts of the movie make u sad, i was when meg died, alithough i have read that some people didnt like this movie and didnt see how it was possible for MEg to play a doctor or Nic cage to be an angel - angel with black coats - definitly made me see a differnet side of an angel.

TP was cool to . Both the songs john wrote for the movie are gr8. The little boy in the movie could have been John - as he once said himself he understood where the hawkins was coming from. Yr touched when jims father leaves and u hear john song in the background playing when jim runs to see his father to stop him from leaving - so sad scene.

I rented City of Angels just to hear Iris, but it turned out to be pretty good. I liked it even tho this isn't usually my type of movie, it almost made me cry. (I'm not such a big crier with movies.)

I thought City of Angels was a good movie, but definitely a Depressing one -- best part of it is Iris!!

I really enjoyed Treasure Planet. My 3 year old LOVES the movie!! Initially I rented it because of John, but now we own the movie.

I don't know why, but City of Angels was an uplifting movie to me. Heck, forget about forever and all, I'd be so blessed if I could find someone special and have that one lovely moment... :love:

my thoughts on City of Angels:
the movie was beautiful, sad, and heartbreaking. the sad part was the fact that seth had to become a fallen angel and that's like turning your back on God. the beautiful part was why he did it. he was willing to give up his immortality to be with meg ryan's character. he and her fell in love and he was willing to give it all up just to be with her....to feel what he had never, to be seen as human in her eyes. he would rather feel one touch of her hand, one kiss of her lips, than an eternity without it. that is beautiful. the heartbreaking part was when she gets killed....just as they were beginning their journey into a relationship of real true love. he had barely begun his life with her and then that dream is shattered. his only reason to give up his immortality was gone. he had to spend the rest of his life without her....but in his mind, he was fortunate to have at least felt it all once. that is beautiful, sad, and heartbreaking.

my thoughts on TP:
i don't remember a lot about it. i remember that it had more emotional feeling to it than most animated movies. it was a good movie all around, i think. though, i only watched it once or twice, so i might have to see it again to give you a better analysis of my opinion.

oh btw i loved City of Angels, i was in tears :-[ :-/lol, i'm a guy and should be strong! but i always cry lol i'm such a baby :-[ green mile is the film that made me cry the most...but i haven't seen treasure planet, will have to watch it soon...

Always Know where you are.
It appears at the end of TP credits.
I think im still here is really good, but i feel even more emotion in 'Always know where you are'- in it he talks about how he's grown and the world has shown him alot of things and learnt alot. I really like it.

i liked City of Angels, but it's one of those movies that are so sad i can only watch it once. someone mentioned the Green Mile, seen that one once, never again! he was scared of the dark and they didn't put the hood on. . .oh my gosh, the tears and the snot were flowing freely that night!!!

honestly, the only part of treasure planet i liked was when I'm Still Here came on, then again that was the only reason i watched it. . . ;D

well because i'm only a kid i'm not into all that lovey dovey crap.but yeah that was exactly what i ws thinking when she let go of the bars it was like ??? ???did i miss something since when do people start riding bikes with their eyeys closed arms up in the air in the middle of a road?i mean i sorta understand....but you know...i only like it because of iris!i like treasure planet umm i'm not sure that i really understand the whole setting of it.you know people living on planets other than earth spider like creatures something similar to whales that shoots goo out instead of waterjust floating in the air.i've never really been into al that science fiction thing you know but for a movie like that it wasn't bad!but i reallylike the songs johny wrote for it! the green mile is a very disturbing movie emotionally i cried when that guys rat died! :-[ it was sad that's all he had.

" City Of Angels " is my alltime favorite movie and i'm not just saying that because Johnny sings in it , OK maybe i am but it's so darn sad :bigcry:But still it's a beautiful romance, i just had to go buy it and " Treasure Planet" They are both my fav.

Call me a bad Goo fan but I've never seen City of Angels and I don't plan too. I did however watch the part just to hear Iris when it was on TBS about a year ago. I don't like Meg Ryan or Nick Cage so I just can't get into the movie, I tried but I just can't. I LOVE the story of the movie but the movie itself, no just can't do it.
