Title: Dearborn show dress code Post by ShanGooFan on Jun 3rd, 2005, 11:41am I found this over on AG and thought you all might like to see it. Just a head's up on the dress code for the Michigan show. Here's the link: http://www.tpcofmichigan.com/Default.aspx?p=DynamicModule&PageId=204034&ssid=28300 Dress Code requires proper attire be worn at all times in the clubhouse, on the course and at the practice facility. Denim of any kind: gym shorts, coaching shorts, cutoffs, short shorts, bathing attire, T-shirts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, tennis outfits and apparel of a similar nature is inappropriate. Shirts must be collared and recommended short length is Bermuda length. I'm gonna really be scrounging for a collared shirt. I seriously don't think I own any. I really wanted to wear my GGD babydoll shirt. I don't like this at all! |

Need to confirm if this dresscode is for the attendees also. -Babs |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by nmf016 on Jun 3rd, 2005, 12:34pm Can't you, like, wear whatever you want to wear under your collared shirt? And then when the concert starts, just take off your top shirt? I doubt anyone will come and drag you out of the pit for that. |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by babsil30 on Jun 3rd, 2005, 1:06pm that's what i was thinking! just wear what is necessary to gain access to the golf course, then pack another shirt or wear the shirt i wanted to under it. :D |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by ShanGooFan on Jun 3rd, 2005, 2:26pm OK ... someone from AG called and apparently the dress code is for golfers. Now they appreciate people/attendees following the dress code but I guess it's not required. I would, however, stick to the no denim rule. It probably wouldn't hurt for one of us to call and confirm that though. |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by betty on Jun 5th, 2005, 1:48am ;) i have been to many golf courses, with my husband he golfs, i can't b/c of the stroke i had. so i sit in the cart and watch, but if i'm not dressed to the code of the club, i can't even just ride in the cart. don't chance it! go ahead and wear what the culb says too. sitting and waiting in a car is not fun :(, but looking dorky enjoying goo is worth it ;) i would think. wish i lived closer b/c i would be there looking dorky in a golfing outfit. |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by LouAndNic on Jun 6th, 2005, 5:51am That sucks - would've thought you'd be able to wear what you like considering you're not actually playing golf! Hope nobody misses out due to this.... |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by babsil30 on Jun 6th, 2005, 8:36am I don't think they'll actually turn anyone away at the gate. I think most people can at least respect the surroundings and the atmosphere they have created. No biggie... I'm still planning on wearing my halter, but not until the concert. I won't wear anything over it though as I think it'll be hot during that time. -Babs |

Title: Re: Dearborn show dress code Post by crazy4goo on Jun 6th, 2005, 7:44pm So what's everyone else gonna wear? All my shorts are probably considered "too short" :dunno: I look like a total geek in bermuda shorts. ::) This is gonna be tough! Maybe we should just wear what we want (with in reason) and have a back up outfit in the car ??? |
