Title: Found Something
Post by Becky on May 25th, 2005, 9:17pm
I was at a used music store called Turn It Up and filing through the new arrivals section.  I see a CD called Modern Rock Live.  I think, I like modern rock... so I pull it out.  FIRST TRACK: Girl Right Next to Me-Goo Goo Dolls.

Its a compilation of live songs released in 1996! and I paid $5 for it.  It says 'Not For Sale, For Promotional Use Only'.  So I feel like I lucked out.  Havent listened to it yet though :-[ :P

I saw a bunch of other goo appearances on CD's that day, which I never do, so it was good luck! And they also have this book I plan to buy at some point.  Its a Rolling Stone release about tattoos.  Of course there is a pic of John with a quote next to it.  Something like this (not exactly): "I knew this girl once who had a black line tattooed on her thigh about halfway down and above it it said, 'You must be at least this tall to ride.'"
Thought that was pretty funny...

That's cool. I know I've heard that john quote somewhere before.

What a great find Becky. I love the quote but hadn't heard it before. Thanks for sharing.
