...what's going on with the new record and how much longer it's going to be until we get to hear it? lol I know it takes a lot of time, but I remember talk about the new record over a year ago. Where are you Goo Goo Dolls?

I think in April 05, �Robby was saying they are finishing the writing for the new album in Buffalo, and they are going to LA soon to record it. I dont know if this is true... but im hoping it will be out this summer. It will be exciting to hear new material and to see which countries they will tour... Johnny's turning 40 soon and he been saying that he's not sure if he will still be rocking with the goo's at that age. I hope he will be cos he doesn't look 40! LOL

I hope that's true. I'm really starting to miss new music from them and just that fuzzy feeling you get when you hear new songs. If there's any time I'm going to need new Goo in my life, it's right now.

I heard a september tour, which should mean a september release, but i think it will be a little late.

I am telling myself to not plan on seeing them until next Spring(06) that way I'll be excited if they actually do tour in the fall. But they usually are later than what they origanally say....

That's just part of a being a goo fan. I don't bother anymore...when it comes out, it comes out. It was so painful waiting for "dizzy up the girl" and I don't want to go back to that..haha.

yeh the goo's dont make records every year - look at the gap when we waited for gutterflower.
Maybe thats a good thing, cos then their sound be's refreshing.

Sounds like good thinking to me. I figure I will just be surprised when the tour comes or when the album is released. Until then, back to my Goo CDs. ;)

Johnny told a fan at the Fashion show that they start recording next month...sounds like a late fall release to me.
