Title: Cute story! Post by johnnysgirl on Apr 13th, 2005, 8:31am So, this morning I am driving my 5 year old daughter to school and we are listening to the radio when the new Lenny Kravitz song came on. I asked her if she liked this song and she says, without missing a beat, "No, I only like the Goo Goo Dolls." That's my girl! Anyways, just thought I would share. |

Title: Re: Cute story! Post by Saz_Goo on Apr 16th, 2005, 9:04am LMAO Silvergirl!! I think i've got my mother well-trained too! she rang me to say one of her work friends had heard "Give a little bit" on the radio once!! Very cool!! I'm training my friends as well - even if they're not goo fans they can name all the band members and at least one album...;) I can't wait for my friends to have kids so that I can indoctrinate them into Goo!! ;D |

Title: Re: Cute story! Post by AmyJo on Apr 16th, 2005, 2:48pm There is nothing as satisfying as having your children REQUEST the Goos. It was a proud day this week when I drove my son and daughter (8 and 10) to school and we were all singing "Burnin' Up" and "Slave Girl" as loud as we could and they knew all the words. My little GOO-fans! |

Title: Re: Cute story! Post by Gutterflower on Apr 16th, 2005, 8:49pm When I was a baby, I was the same way as all of your peoples kid's. My dad brainwashed me with The Go-Go's. Don't get me wrong, they're an awesome band, but as I got older I got a little pissed when my dad told me to sing along with him in the car :-X Now, I just found out that he wants to take me and my 15 year old brother to one of they're concerts. I don't want my first concert to be The Go-Go's, I want it to be Goo :'( Oh well I need to learn to stay on topic ::) |
