Okay, living in Canada, the chances of me seeing the July 10th show are about as likely as. . . Well, as likely as the Goos coming to Newfoundland. Ain't happenin'. So, instead of me moping, and being all sad cuz I can't see the show, I'm having a Goo-party. (For those of you concerned with my mental health; yes, this is the part where you call the men in white coats!)

I plan on having a cake, watching LIB and allllll those wonderful Gooey things. Black balloons, the whole bit. Anyone have any ideas??

^ Did I interpret that wrong? Aren't they playing at some golf tournament thing in Detroit? I'm pretty sure . . . Maybe I'm wrong, but, you know. Either way, I'll STILL have my Goo party! ^^

Pinky ... you're not wrong. The golf tournament is in Dearborn which is one of the suburbs just west of Detroit. When people talk about 'Detroit' usually they refer to the many neighboring suburbs as well and not just the city itself.

Yes. I'm really serious about the Goo-party. So far, I have two people who say they're going. I'm gonna have Pez Dispensers for all! Lmao. I shall take zee piccytures.

Sounds like a blast! �My friends and I have had something similar, we call them JoviFests! The lot of us are Bon Jovi fans and we get together and have a lot of fun. �

The last JoviFest we had was in Chicago the weekend of the Philly Soul/Chicago Rush AFL game.

Depending on how active you want to be, I made a Jovi Twister game... *snickers* �Left hand on Richie...takes on a whole new meaning! LOL All I did was each column of colored dots was a designated band member. Not sure how you'd do that with Goo as there are technically only 3, but perhaps you can make the 4th column of colored dots something that would pertain to your area... I printed out all different photos, 6 photos per column...and then used clear packing tape to tape the photos on.

At the end of the weekend, we all signed it. It'll be traveling over to Germany in just a week so some other friends can play the game too!

We also have a drink called Jovi Rumble, which is sort of like a Pina Colada... maybe have something like that. �Of course we watched videos, played the game and just generally visited, drank & ate!

Yay! Nice to know I'm not alone in my little party type activites! ^^
Lmao at the Twister type game! Sounds like fun! I could actually set that up, Use album covers or something for extras . . . I like that! ^^
Hehe, one of my friends suggested that I set up some kind of pin the tail on the donkey game, only replace the donkey with the Goos. I decided to avoid THAT discussion completely.

Hehe, the thing is, very few of my friends feel the same about the Goos as I do. This is my evil, diabolical plan to conquer them, leading to a mass of new Goobers!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh yeah. AND we're gonna have a good time.

You can do musical chairs with Goos playin, A Gooey Grab Bag, I'd say do name that tune but if some aren't big GOObers then you'd probably be the only one winning and that's not fun for EVERYONE!!! I was going to also mention like a win lose draw with Goo coralation, but.....

oh i know what you could do,you could have one of those games where like how many words can you make out of the goo goo dolls and whoever can make the most in one minute wins like a gooey grab bag(someone mentioned)

You could play goo drinking games!! (if its that kind of party) Stick on a goo dvd and a different shot for each goo. (Vodka for John, tequila for Mike-he strikes me as a tequila drinker- and some really sweet drink like apple sourz for robby) Then, say your watching Behind The Music, each time John says "y'know" take a shot of vodka. Each time Robby laughs a shot of apple sourz. Each time Mike talks or you see a picture of him take a shot of tequila. Then have other random shots like sambuca for when John is too hot to look at etc. Will get you wasted and ensure a great party.

Do not attempt if anyone is under 18, its just wrong ;D

Hey Pinky,

I've done the same sort of thing but for my other fave band Taxiride (Aussie guys).

I'd get a whole bunch of my gig-buddies and we'd watch videos all night, drink, share photos and stories about our experiences.

I like the suggestion for the various GOO influenced games. Especially Grace's suggestion of having shots of vodka whenever John says "Y'know". I think we'd all end up drunk very very quickly!!!! ;)

Hehe, as appealing as all the drinking sounds, I think my mother would have a problem with a houseful of 15-16 year olds getting loaded drunk! ^^; Yeah. I prolly shoulda mentioned my age before now. Rofl.

Y'know, (hehe) I should prolly be doing homework. Yet, here I am, on the internet researching ideas for a Goo party that's ages away. Hehe, gotta love procrastination.
