Title: Goo getting me thru Post by googirl28 on Mar 23rd, 2005, 10:34pm OK, being that Easter is right around the corner........... I needed to go run errands (which I hate to do) two nights in a row in order to make "treat" baggys for my kiddies' classmates. I just popped in a goo CD and sang at the top of my lungs while in the car and made the trip around town worthwhile. They definitely got me through it. I know I'm "insane" but please bare with me. I don't have ANY hard core goo fans around me ---- no one knows what I'm going thru with them "being in the scene". |

Title: Re: Goo getting me thru Post by googirl28 on Mar 23rd, 2005, 10:49pm LMAO ----- if, at any time of the day, people look at me driving -- I am singing and making the same faces that John does!!!!!!! I admire you for having your sticker that says something about Johnny Rzeznik is my other ride" or something like that. I have been wanting to put a ggd on my family car as well, or also, my dirt bike. Can't believe I haven't done that yet --***thinks I need to check ebay soon****. Anyway, never been to Buffalo, but I kinda understand!!! BTW, whenever I'm humming Two Days in Feb, my 3 yo says, "Mommy, thats the damn right song" My hubby hates that--- he he he he he |

Title: Re: Goo getting me thru Post by Raven on Mar 24th, 2005, 3:02am I don't know what I would do without my daily dose of Goo to get me through the day ??? They were there, and helped me through all my cancer treatments [chemo, surgery, and radiation]. I wouldn't be where I am today without Goo! I have my personalized Goo license plate, but no Goo bumper stickers on my car. I keep those in my collection. |

I didn't have cancer, but I went through chemo and heavy medication to control my Lupus and it really knocked me around. Goo and their music was what got me through every single day. ;D |
