ok, so while we're all impatiently awaiting new music, I thought it'd be fun to see what other cover songs everyone would like to hear. The thought for this came to me the other day while driving hubby to the airport to go to work when Radar Love (an oldie but goodie) came on the radio...me being obsessed as I am say "I bet the Goos would do an awesome version of this" ;D
He looks at me, rolls eyes and tells me I need to throttle back!
Has anyone else ever heard a song they love and immediately think of john,rob and mike???

I didn't think of the Goo's right away, but I've thought for a while it'd be great for someone to do a cover of The Cars' "Just What I Needed"... :-/

Personally, I can't think of any, but one of my housemates is obsessed with the idea of Robby covering "Massachussets" (or however it's spelt :P) by the Bee Gees - which is possibly the strangest idea i've ever heard.... ::)

i kinda wish the goos would cover Arcadia's The promise.(Don't know if anyone likes that song but i love it even though it ALMOST has a cheesy 80's sound but i love that song nonetheless)umm maybe a few nirvana songs like smells like teen spirit.(If you really listen to the lyrics in something in the way he says something like it's okay to eat fish.. that man could not write a song that made a lick of sense if his life depended on it but made it sound awesome i wish goo would cover that too..anyway)umm oh i would love it if they covered a few three doors down songs like let me go or ticket to Heaven.maybe some matchbox 20 too.Lots of songs they could cover and make it sound GOOd! 8)

there was a very short clip of them singing like the first 2 verses of the song before We Are The Normal (live), but i lost it
