Title: Re: Favorites Post by RogueUK on Mar 10th, 2005, 5:13am Lol since you asked so nicely... Favourite Goo would have to beeee... http://home.doramail.com/gutterflower/GooStuff/Robby17smile.jpg ;D As for favourite song...well that's a killer question! Am I allowed to make a list? Well I'm gonna anyway (and none of you can stop me :P haha) For John songs I'd say Big Machine, What a Scene, Here is Gone, Girl right next to Me, Flat Top, Two Days in February, We are the Normal...ok that's enough...I could go on...(Hate this Place, So Far Away, Fallin' Down, Long Way Down...ok ok, I'm gonna stop, I SWEAR!) Robby songs...ooh freaky...just as I was thinking 'Another Second Time Around' it started playing! My playlist reads my thoughts :eyeroll: Up Up Up, Burnin' up, Tucked Away, Somethin' Bad, January Friend, SLAVE GIRL :rockin: Lucky Star (which I've started to LOVE since seeing the Storytellers performance *points at pic*) I'm also a big fan of the old, OLD Robby songs. If you've ever heard Robby singing 'Sunshine of your love' you'll know what I mean...heh heh. The mindless screaming is just too fun. ;D |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by gutterflower on Mar 10th, 2005, 5:21am I still think you're awsome!!!!! ;D My favorite Goo is obviouslly John but Robby is still verrrrrry cool! :nanner: I have to agree, that is a killer question. my fave Robby sons are Full Forever, Extra Pale, and more but my absolute favotite would have to be Domino ;) Now for John, it's all of them, Sympathy just came on my playlist. Lea, you do understand that I am only 13 years old ??? :gflower:Gutterflower :gflower: |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by gutterflower on Mar 10th, 2005, 5:37am Because I looked at your profile and most people your age(not saying that you're old or anything like that) don't give ashit about me except my sis(almost24) I'm just a little surprised that we've been "chatting" for so long but it's so cool ;D :gflower:Gutterflower :gflower: |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by RogueUK on Mar 10th, 2005, 5:43am Lol most people 'my age' ahahah well I'll just get my zimmerframe then shall I? ;) Actually, I'm going to be 20 this week. *looks frantically in mirror for signs of developing wrinkles* LMAO I remember what it was like to be a young teenager and not be taken seriously by 'adults' - and it sucked! Age isn't that important, attitude and state of mind are far more significant. :) |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by RogueUK on Mar 10th, 2005, 2:02pm Your dad and stepmum only have your best interests at heart when they made you have a babysitter - they worry about you and just want you to be safe. I know it's annoying, but it shows that they care...and I know how annoying it is when people say this, but you WILL understand when you get older, I promise. I think you're the wise one, gutterflower, since you said you wouldn't change anything you've been through. Everything you've been through will make you stronger in the end, and it's our experiences which make us the people that we are. That said...you say you 'used to cut yourself'. No more, I hope? And you should maybe try to talk to someone about the bulimia...you have to get to the bottom of WHY you do these things to yourself...only then can you hope to conquer them once and for all. If you ever need to talk just PM me. :) |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by gutterflower on Mar 10th, 2005, 2:20pm What is hell is PM ??? Explain please :gflower:Gutterflower :gflower: |
||
Title: Re: Favorites Post by jovi_goo on Mar 10th, 2005, 4:16pm A PM stands for Private Message. At the top of the screen next to your screen name on here it will tell you if you have any. So just click on that if you ever get any. And if you want to send one just click on the person's name and click send private message. Hope that helps :) -Kelly |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by Iris74 on Mar 10th, 2005, 5:32pm Favorite Goo is John. Fave Song....that's toughie. Iris (of course), We are the Normal, Here is Gone, and 'Cuz You're Gone w/ 1000 Words are my fave John singing songs. Robby songs ~ Extra Pale and Domino ROCK! BTW, don't want to seem like I'm butting in, but Rogue is right. You need to get to the bottom of WHY you do those things. A former boyfriend of mine did the same things to himself, and nearly died from it. It's serious. |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by blessed_by_goo on Mar 10th, 2005, 9:24pm Hi Gutterflower..... very original name here by the way, you're very lucky to have gotten it! I am very suprised no one else thought to get it before now. I agree whole heartily with Rogue! You're stepMum (as she says it) and Dad love you and as assinign as their rules and punishments seem... think of how u'd feel if you did all these things to yourself and they did nothing. You'd look back years from now...you'd say angrily "why didn't you do anything to help me, I was crying for help and you did nothing!" Although you may not think you're crying for help you ARE, you just don't know it. I had a very very RUFF time at your age and did the cutting thing, overdosing, running away....yadayadayada! I was constantly beaten... even in front of boyfriends and friends. I was made to do military style punishments, kicked with steel toe workboots, had my asslength blonde hair pulled and stepped on and then cutt off as short as Mikes and even molestead by stepfather! When I finally went to Mum w/ the latter of them all, she wouldn't believe me. ANYWAY.... no sympathy here please! My point being. Pick up your own pieces, figure out where it all goes wrong and build from there, YOU CAN BE A BIGGER AND BETTER PERSON FROM IT ALL. I don't condone any of my childhood tragedies, but I am an ox of a woman because of them! You may PM me anytime on any matter of the heart. I am 31 and a mom of 2, but still 13 At heart! Funny thing is (and no I'm no gospel worshiper), but I do believe in signs, and I felt a tug when I saw this post. Stay true to YOU! and GOO ! Love and luck ! To answer original reason for being here: John Is my Fav Goo and Acoustic #3 is my fav, for the obvious above reasons, I swear John wrote it for me! (wishful thinkin never hurt) and Name! I also love Robby and his SLAVE GIRL |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by girlnamedgrace on Mar 11th, 2005, 4:29am :-[ :-[ i sounded totally heartless in my last post, I just kinda skimmed over the other messages before writing my reply! Everyone is right Gutterflower, your Dad and stepmom only did those things because they love you and are worried about you. I hope that if you ever feel the need to talk you know that you'll always find someone to listen here at WOG! :grouphug: |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by Julie on Mar 20th, 2005, 3:27pm My favorite Goo is of course John.... ;D As for my favorite song, it would have to be Name. I also really like Big Machine, Think About Me, It's Over, Slide, All Eyes On Me, Hate This Place, Long Way Down, Naked, Ain't That Unusual, the list could go on and on. lol. I think I better stop here before the list goes on for pages and pages. lol. |

And to answer the question that started this thread.... My favorite Goo is John, for obvious reasons.... Favorite Goo song....will always be "Cuz You're Gone" |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by SassyMay on Mar 20th, 2005, 8:01pm I love all of them and all of their songs!Need I say more? ;) |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by Raven on Mar 21st, 2005, 2:09am I don't have a favorite. I prefer all three guys, working together as a group. If any of them were missing, it just wouldn't be "Goo." :-[ If I had to choose, I guess I can relate to Robby most. He is more of what I would look for in a friend. He is extremely funny, laid back, and very down-to-earth. He doesn't take anything in life too seriously. I prefer his childlike qualities. Life is too short, and we all must learn to enjoy every moment. Robby is the perfect example of what living life to the fullest is all about! :shines: Favorite Goo songs: Name, Black Balloon, Cuz You're Gone/1000 Words, and So Far Away. Favorite John Song: Name Favorite Robby Song: Tucked Away |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by BitterPills on Mar 21st, 2005, 9:34pm Favorite Goo: John Favorite John Song: Bulletproof/Naked/Lazy Eye Favorite Robby Song: Lucky Star/January Friend/Tucked Away |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by Saz_Goo on Mar 23rd, 2005, 6:49pm Agh, I'm the world's worst fence-sitter!! I'd say I like all 3 Goos equally, they all have great points about them. John writes cool songs and his tattoos and hair has fascinated me in times gone by...I love Robby's hair-dying, and I love his T-shirts and glasses, and the way his songs sound... and I've always had a thing for drummers and Mike is very quiet and mysterious, and I admire his marathon-running immensely!! So I can't choose. :P but fave John songs currently are: Two days in February, Girl right Next To Me, Long Way Down, Lazy Eye and Big Machine. Fave Robby songs: Already There, Smash, Amigone, Full Forever, Domino, Burnin' Up. :rockin: |

My slogan is "What would Robby do?" :hahaha: To be serious for a second though, I actually DO really admire Robby, and take a lot of inspiration from his attitude to life. I think it's very important to make the most of your life and to really ENJOY living, and thinking about Robby helps me to do that ;D LMAO @ Saz the fence-sitter...those splinters must hurt... :P |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by googirldownunder on Apr 1st, 2005, 9:04am Wow some of the responses and reasons have been so great to read. I've been sitting and thinking about this and I can answer the basic questions of favourite songs easy enough. My all time favourite Goo song would be: "Name" My fave Robby song would be "Up, Up, Up" But picking a favourite Goo member is a lot harder...... I really respect and admire John because he's gone through a lot of personal troubles and despite his flaws, has managed to come out on top. I can relate to that, and take comfort in knowing that a man who I idolise is finally in a state of happiness. Robby, as Rogue mentioned is such a happy-go-lucky character. Whenever I'm feeling down I think back on that very first time I met Robby and the brilliant smile he had on his face. His spirit and character is what I aspire to be like everyday to my fellow human beings! ;D Mike is such a quiet but determined soul. The fact that he is so athletic and partakes in marathon running is proof of that. Even though I'm probably the farthest thing from being a sporty person, I can still relate to his determined and persistent nature. So there you have it, I guess I love all of the GOO! :claps: |

Title: Re: Favorites Post by peanut on Apr 3rd, 2005, 6:32pm My favorite Goo is John; beautiful music, beautiful words, beautiful smile. Favorite song is Dizzy, 2DIF and Flat Top |
