Title: Where to go with the first single Post by TomOAus on Mar 5th, 2005, 2:43am Which way do u think the guys will go with the new single. Obviously it will be radio friendly, but will they go down the path that lifehouse have and write a really good ballad, or go for a more hard rock approach. IMO a ballad would probly get better sales, but i would like a heavier song. Maybe something in between like here is gone. |

Title: Re: Where to go with the first single Post by SupaFireCross on Mar 5th, 2005, 12:18pm I think they'll go for something kind of like Broadway...Everyone liked it but a lot of people paid no attention to the lyrics. I know a lot of people who were like "Oh, I love that song! Broadway is dark tonight...dum de dum dum...Broadway is dark tonight!" It's kind of sad, but it happens. I think it will be something like that or, like was said above a few times, Her is Gone. ;D |

Title: Re: Where to go with the first single Post by RogueUK on Mar 5th, 2005, 12:53pm Well it's not gonna be released here anyway so it makes no difference to me! ::) Stupid damn country. My all time dream is for one of Robby's songs to be released as a single. It's not gonna happen though. I heard there was some kind of campaign for 'You never know' to be released but I guess it must have failed... |

Title: Re: Where to go with the first single Post by TomOAus on Mar 6th, 2005, 12:35am I thought GALB wouldnt be on the new record, i was under the impression it was a promotional song to go wtih the dvd release. I would be a bit dissapointed if GALB was the lead single to the new album cuz it would take a little bit of excitment out of it, the first single is always good. |

Title: Re: Where to go with the first single Post by SassyMay on Mar 6th, 2005, 8:07am Well i mean because it did so well for so long that they were gonna put it on the new record. I know i'm going off topic but who thinks they should take a lot of their older songs like we are the normal so far away 2 days in feb. fallin' down etc.... and rerelease them as singles and i think they would do really good. |

Title: Re: Where to go with the first single Post by Sakogoo666 on Mar 6th, 2005, 2:07pm I think America is leaning a bit toward metal nowadays. Stuff like Pantera/Slipknot/Three Days Grace/A Perfect Circle, etc. is ALWAYS playing on the rock station here lol. It would be AWESOME if they released a super hardcore single! :rockin: If I get on my college's newspaper, I'd love to do a review on it to promote it ;D |

Title: Re: Where to go with the first single Post by boynamedgoo on Mar 6th, 2005, 8:10pm I'm thinking it'd be great if they'd have a Ain't That Unusual/Eyes Wide Open/On The Lie-type song as a single. I've always thought that if they would have went with one of those songs, they would do really well. As for re-releasing older songs, I think it'd be great. They used "Two Days in February" to promote EOAC, although I would've chosen On the Lie or Cuz You're Gone myself... |
