Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way for me to be able to take the videos that I've saved into my "my videos" and burn them so I can view 'em on my dvd player. However I don't have a dvd burner in modem. Isn't there some other way??? Will WMV file format work??? Any help would be great. I need to free up space on comp, and would love to be able to view these on my reg tv.

There is a way. If you can get the files into MPEG format and if you have a regular burner with a program that will burn video cds you could do that. Most dvd players now days will play a V-CD. I finally got a DVD recorder DVD player. Its a seperate componant that hooks to my tv. It plays just like a DVD player but has a record feature like a VCR so I have been converting all my goo video tapes to DVD.

That's awesome!!! Thanks. I know probably everyone out there's goin EVEN I knew that! Now I hate to be a pain in the arse, but here's another stupid question. Do I burn onto a dvd cd or will a regular cd-r work???

when I was doing v-cds from the mpeg files I had on my computer I just used a regular CD-R. Just make sure in your dvd manual that it will play a V-CD. In the front section it should tell you what types it will play. That way you don't go through all of that for nothing.

yeah, i made a goo vcd back in the dayz.

1) Get nero burner
2) Convert with Video TMPGEnc.
3) burn em
N) U can also probably skip step 2 and just burn them.

*Rotfl* I skipped pretty much all the steps except #3! I already had Nero, and so I just put all the vids in the list and burned them, and they WORKED!!! I didn't expect them to, but now I'm EXTREMELY happy and giddy and gooey! ^___________^
Everything worked out fine, except for two music videos (Iris and Black Balloon). For some reason, when I play those two, the audio plays in fast-forward kinda, and the video plays at normal speed. Anyone know what went wrong?

OK I'm havin a too much info overload...hahaha! I'll try fuelie's method 1st and see if it works....I know nuttin about those other progams. Thank you so much... I'll let ya'll know if it works
