So I just sat here and watched Leeann Rimes sing "Name" and Avril Lavigne sing "Iris" (both with Johnny) and I'm pleasantly surprised.

I don't especially care for Leeann or Avril really, but when they partnered up with Johnny and sang those songs I really liked the way they sounded.

I'm sure the Leeann and Avril stuff is old news with you guys (with your fingers pressed firmly on the Goo pulse) but are there other big artists out there that have performed with the guys, or have done the guys' songs? I'd be interested to hear them too.

It was a nice surprise I think. I get so used to hearing "Name" by only Johnny, and then to have someone else's vocals included... kinda made me :o a little. Hehe.

Na, that's about it...oh, John did a song with "Fred Durst" from "Limp Bizkit". A song for 9-11, good cause, but I thought the song sux!

I like alot of Avril's music, and I can see her how she is influenced by the goos, but I didn't think they matched well when performed together. "iris" is a John song, simple as that and only John can sing it.

Leanne did a pretty good! Her voice is so amazing that it doesn't matter what's she singing.

I know this is gay, but I really want the Goos and Hilary Duff to sing "What Christmas May Be". I remember when they did their first chat, I asked if the goos would do a song with Hilary and they didn't reply at all. i was hurt!! At least they could have said was "well, we're releasing 'sympathy' on her new movie.".

I'm kidding, i wasn't hurt, and I was kinda kidding but serious, but I had no idea they were gonna be on her soundtrack, should have mentioned it!

Yeah, I remember the Fred Durst duet for 9/11, and when they were on the Chris Issack show. I have both those mp3s. Although I don't think I know about the Mark McGrath.

They didn't sing Goo songs though, did they?

hey sara! i'm referring to when mark mcgarth came on the stage with the goos at the darrien lake show and sang with the goos for one song! it was a fun moment!! ;D

yeah I remember that also, it was during we are the normal, Mcgrath really butchered that song i thought >:(

I love that song I have the mp3 and video cuz I love it so much!
I don't know what the whole deal with Mark McGrath is? ???

When did they record the song with Avril?

I'd like to hear this if someone could tell me where to look for it :)
I knew about the Leanne Rimes song, but I don't think I heard it either...

I feel so out of the loop! ::)
