Does anyone know if Johnny changed the lyrics when he performed it on LIB? He sings "I wanted you to be my girl". Was that always part of the song? If this is a dumb ? sorry! I just started getting exposed to the older goo songs.

I never hear that part? Idk.ill listen to it again..but it did raise a question for me..he says..."Another words just got broken"..but i think he accidently messed up..what do ya'll think?...I'll check again on the want u to be my girl thing..but if he does say that..its kinda different than the other versions I've heard..but I know he does always change the words around...constantly..it's a white boys freestyle! ;) lol

Thanks! I noticed he changes words around live and last night I picked up on the " I wanted you to be my girl " and I never heard him sing it in those words before. If anyone else heard it, let me know and I'll know I'm not hallucinating :kookoo: I can't go listen to it again because I let my friend borrow it for a few days. Trying to convert my friend.. so he'll go to goo shows with me! :thumbsup:

Johnny is known for changing lyrics during a live show...the studio version Johnny says "I wished you could be my girl" so it's not that much of a difference compared to "I wanted you to be my girl" it still works :dunno:

Yeah I was wondering about those lyrics too. I absolutely LOVE the way he changed them!! ;D I was wondering if he combined lyrics from another song. I swear he did but I was going through some of the lyrics from Dizzy and Gutterflower and didn't find anything similar. Anyone have any other thoughts?

nobody will believe me but i know robby goo anyways alot of time according to robby john either forgets the words and redose it or he changes them to make it different ;)

She was talking about the recorded version of "Cuz Your Gone" which does not have a 1000 words in it. �Thats a live only deal. �

Either way that it is worded, I still love 1000 words!!! His voice when he sings that just makes me :drool:
