Well it's been a while since we've posted here but seeing as it was members of the WoG message board that first made us check out Keith Urban's music, we just HAD to post today lol

We are off to see Keith at Shepherds Bush Empire tonight and are really looking forward to it. We've only seen him support previously as when we did have tickets last time he came over, we weren't able to make the date due to our grandmother passing away.

Really looking forward to experiencing a full Keith show and will do our best to bring you some piccies :)

Ooooohhhhh I'm so jealous!!! He has a huge tour but isn't coming any where near me.

I hope you have a blast tonight. Be prepared to be blown away. Keith as a headliner is undescribable. I've heard this new tour is awesome. I love this new album and can't wait to see him perform it live.

Please come back with a full review and a few pics. I need to live vacariously through you right now ;)

Cool! I should see if he is coming anywhere near me. I would love to see him live. I loved his performance of "Stupid Boy" on the CMT Music Awards.

ETA: August 11th he'll be in Worcester MA, but I'll be away. Maybe next tour I will have the opportunity to see his show.

i saw keith last year at jazz fest! he was wonderful! my boy was like ugh, but then really enjoyed!!!

Thanks everyone, we had SUCH a good time last night - Keith was incredible!

We had already seen Keith supporting Bryan Adams a couple of years ago so knew he was good live but last night we were blown away but just HOW good he is. He totally rocked Shepherds Bush Empire and left the crowd wanting more... always a good sign!

Keith came on about 9.10pm ish and played solidly right through till 11pm with only the smallest of breaks (about 2 minutes) for an encore. He comes across as so down to earth, humorous oh and as you all know, can rock with the best of them.

He opened with Once In A Lifetime from his new album "Love Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing" which set the standard for the whole evening. So many tracks were played varying from Somebody Like You to You'll Think of Me to Days Go By, You're My Better Half, the beautiful Making Memories of Us, Raining on Sunday (with the Empire singing verses back at Keith) and new tracks Shine, I Can't Stop Loving You, Faster Car, new single "Stupid Boy" and so many more that we've no doubt missed out. For the encore, Keith came out and played keyboards and sang "Got It Right This Time" on his own which he dedicated to his wife and then launched into "Better Life" and finishing on "Everybody" if we remember correctly.

It really was incredible and at times, produced some of those spine tingly moments that you only get at a REALLY good gig.

One thing is for certain, we will DEFINITELY be seeing Mr Urban in concert again.

P.S We are working on some piccies and will upload a.s.a.p. they are taken a few rows back from the seated balcony though but we'll do our best :)

That sounds like it was such a good show......sigh. I can't wait to see him again. I'm so glad you had such a good time. I knew you would. Keith is just unbelievable to me. I've never seen a bad show. He just gets better and better. Thanks so much for being so prompt with your review. I was hoping to see one this morning. You didn't disappoint.

It really was an amazing show and it surprised us how intense the atmosphere was.

Are you kidding? I LOVE them. These are great shots! Just goes to show that you can still get good pics and have a good show from the balcony.

I don't think he's coming anywhere near me until 2008 :'( At least that's the rumor anyway.
