Title: The Grammys
Post by DWG on Feb 11th, 2007, 7:41pm
Okay, the Police reunion was awesome. Got a separate thread going for that.

But I had to laugh at Justin Timberlake. The first song he did was actually alright. For me to say that, it had to be. But then he did this thing where he took a hand-held camera, and pointed it at his face while singing. Soooo lame.

I watched the Grammys for a little while, watched Police preform. Now I'm watching the AKC Agility Invitational. :D

My one comment on the Grammys.  I watched the Police open, and then switched to watch the Simpsons.  Because the truth is I just don't care about anyone nominated or performing.

Me neither. That and the girl next door is watching it with the volume at 11 or something so I don't even need to watch to know what's going on. ::)

I didn't watch the Grammy's but I heard James Blunt lost to John Mayer for an award.

Which kinda sucks because I like James Blunt...I saw him live....twice!

lol. As I was watching Mayer, he reminded me of Richie Sambora, who developed a habit of making what some friends and I dubbed the "constipated face".  :P

Yes. Zoom in on that.   ;)

...come to think of it, Sambora has a lot of funny faces:

Random comment on commercial:
All this stuff about how Prince is the next coming of Christ because he performed in the rain is starting to annoy me.  Uh... I know at least one band who performed in WAY worse rain and they didn't even need hair wraps....

Yeah, that's like when we were watching "Living With Ed" (Ed Begley), and Ed's wife wanted to fly to the Sundance Festival, but Ed wanted to drive in his hybrid car. So she flew, he drove, and he bought a "credit" to make up for the energy 'she' was wasting on the flight. Duh, Ed. You may as well have flown too, because the end result was there was a plane flying to Sundance, and a car driving there. Gahhhh.....
