Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by the white o on Dec 18th, 2006, 5:13pm Kay this is my tree. My sister happens to be at the back of it with her arms out and wearing a green sweater... LOL. I know it's not extravagent, but its our tree, my family's tree that we've been putting up for years and I love it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v148/y2goo_4ever/mytree.jpg |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by the red o on Dec 18th, 2006, 6:16pm Tree 1 - The tree with all of the family ornaments and the one "Santa" visits. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/crookedrhyme/christmas%2006/100_2989.jpg Tree 2 - The one in the front window. Really, my parents just gave in and let my sister put up another tree so she'd stop whining. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/crookedrhyme/christmas%2006/100_2988.jpg |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by Christian on Dec 18th, 2006, 10:21pm Two trees? That be crazy. I'll have to steal my sister's digital camera when she comes over and take a picture then. It's actually in the basement now, I had to move it cause we're getting the floors replaced. Merry Christmas. :P |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by the black o on Dec 19th, 2006, 12:28pm Cool trees!!! It's nice to know there is someone else who has two Christmas trees in their house. ;D |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by the red o on Dec 19th, 2006, 1:59pm Apparently, if you have two cats you need two trees. They have each claimed one as their own to sleep under and bat things off of (and the cat in picture 1 is not as innocent as he looks right there). |

Awww, that's sweet. My cats take turns, I put one of the cats bed next to the tree so he doesn't sleep there but he loves to gnaw on it. I have at least 3 waterbottles ready to be squirted if they start doing that. |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by The Cerulean O on Dec 19th, 2006, 3:02pm One Christmas when my cats were about a year old(maybe two--They were young, in any case), we had our tree in a place we had never tried before, and Bain Sidhe climbed up into it and knocked it over...She still tries, but she's far to large to get into an Christmas tree now... We haven't put up our tree yet, we're gonna put it up on...Staurday? I think Saturday... |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by Christian on Dec 20th, 2006, 4:01am My 3 month old kitten isn't sure what to make of the Christmas tree. He'll bat at an ornament, it'll sway and he'll run away and hide. Repeat ad nausuem. |

I do not recommend using it outside on a windy day though. One gust and I had chocolate all over my white skirt. :D |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by Shannon on Dec 29th, 2006, 11:55am When I was a kid all our stockings matched. In my husband's family they didn't match. I've just always liked how matching stockings look....I like the symmetry. By the time my son was born it was hard to remember where we'd gotten our 3 stockings so we could get his to match. But luckily we remembered. Our cats don't have stockings but they each have an ornament. ;) |

Title: Re: Christmas Trees Post by the purple o on Dec 29th, 2006, 8:08pm What a beautiful tree, Shannon! We used to have the tree in the living room near the stockings on the mantel. This year with the addition of the new sun room, the tree was put in there. All of our stockings are the same style, and are homemade. |
