i know there's some country fans here ...

so whatcha all think of Faith Hill's reaction to Carrie Underwood winning Female Artist of the Year? to me i think she was seriously pissed but did the "oh well" look at the beginning thinking the camera's would be off her and then did the WTF look. hahaha camera's don't lie! i think it's funny, i'm a fan of both but yeah it's still funny.

I didn't stay up long enough to see her reaction...but I sure have heard a lot about it already.

Honestly, I can see some of her point. Normally those awards wait for a while before they hand out "best female/male artist" award to them. Carrie hasn't really paid her "dues" yet and a few of the other artists are overdue for it. It really isn't fair to get the Horizon Award (which is for newcomers) AND the best artist one in the same year.

Even Keith Urban, who's been the hottest thing going, had to wait a year or 2 before he got the best male artist award.

I agree that Carrie has a terrific voice but is definitely too new to get the award.

As for Faith, I think she was a bit perturbed but also being playful. She doesn't strike me as a spiteful/vindictive type of person.

I don't really think Carrie was the right choice for FV, she is too new, but I think she was the obvious choice for the horizon award.

Poor "sportsmanship" Faith. ::) Although I, too, was a bit shocked; it's nice to let others have a chance to win. Quite frankly, I am pretty tired of hearing about Faith and her hubby Tim McGraw. :redtongue:

I'm kinda undecided..... someplace I read that she was doing her 'kayne west' act... actually mocking him....(it was just a day or so after he did his thing in London.. or wherever it was... when he lost.. and went on stage ... and ranted about the show losing credibility etc..

who knows... maybe she was just making fun of kayne... maybe not... she's human
