Title: Fallen - Sarah McLachlan Post by sympathy_0 on Jul 6th, 2006, 1:41pm did this song get alot of airplay where you live? It got some here, not nearly enough as it should have. The lyrics are amazing. Sarah McLachlan is amazing. The only thing that could make her better was if she was a lesbien. |

Title: Re: Fallen - Sarah McLachlan Post by Shannon on Jul 6th, 2006, 3:14pm Yes, and it still does. Especially on the channels that are Windsor/Detroit channels. They are contracted to play 30-40% Canadian artists. |

Title: Re: Fallen - Sarah McLachlan Post by DizzyNess on Jul 7th, 2006, 7:25am Yeah, they played that song quite a lot on one of the music stations in the UK. She used to be played frequantly on tv aswell, but not so much now. The first time i had heard of her was when i saw the vid for Aidia being played...and then from that point i had heard a couple of more songs, and liked her has an artist. I just reliased, that quite alot of the american bands that i like used to be played here, and now you never really see anything....3eb, and Matchbox 20, Goo's, Sugar Ray :-/ |

Title: Re: Fallen - Sarah McLachlan Post by sympathy_0 on Jul 7th, 2006, 10:14pm Ok, it would not make her a sex fantasy. I like gay people more, because I think they seem to be more in tune with the world and the feelings of others, because they have all had hard lives. Look at artists like Melissa Etheridge, and KD Lang, who are amazing. Melissa Etheridge wouldn't have wrote some of her most amazing songs if she was strait. But thats just what I think. I think lesbiens are "cooler" as well. |

Yeah, I'm not homophobic or anything, just made me laugh how you assume all gay people are in tune with the world because they've all had hard lives lol! |

Title: Re: Fallen - Sarah McLachlan Post by Dream of Goo on Jul 29th, 2006, 4:49am I just watched Cold Case episode 'the promise' and heard at the end of the show playing Fallen for the first time. I immediatley recognised her distinctive voice. This song is so sad and beautiful. That was my first cold case episode that i've seen and it was really good. The song fit perfectly. Never seen her video in the uk just on You tube. |
