The Brew Ha Review...

I had went to the Brew Ha, had tix in sec. 411(which is way the hell up there, but miller employee's were the ones who got the seating on the field by the stage)it was awsome. I was so excited to see the Goo's after not seeing them for almost 2 years. As most of you know, John cut his hair, but still looked GOOd as hell. Robby cut his hair and had dreds as far as I could tell, and still as energenic as ever. Mike was banging on the drums, kicked ass as usual. I snuck my digital camera in so I have pics, but I have to mess around with them for a while and figure out how to post them. I was far away, so I had to take pics of the screen. So if they do not turn out right, I won't post them. There were a lot more people than I expected sporting GOO. I was wearing my local crew shirt from the dizzy tour, but it got to hot, so I had to wear my tank top that I had underneath. I was also wearing the gutterflower and dizzy necklace. The set was pretty short, not much crowd interaction. John did not do the ususal "you sing" in slide. No new songs, sorry guys. The set, from what I can remember, in no particular order: what a scene, black balloon, naked, slide, here is gone, big machine, tucked away, smash, broadway, name, iris, give a little bit, i know there was more, i just woke up about 10 min ago, so i have the get my head together yet. i know other people will post to help me. It was fun, realized that I can't wait for their new album and for them to tour again. When there headlining the shows, it always seems a little more personal than rushed. John also made some comment about it was cool or something like that to be celebrating beer. Obviously, as you can tell, this is one of my first times writing a review, usually I just add on to a post that someone else had written. So for now, until I get it together a little bit today (it was a long night) i will try to remember more.

Thanks for the awesome review. Glad to hear you had such a good time. When I first read it and you said John had cut his hair, I thought you meant a trim ... lol. He actually cut it all off. It looks good. AG has a bunch of pics up on their board.

A local radio station was having a contest "What would you do for Bon Jovi/Goo Goo Dolls tickets?" Some guy had WIFC (the call letters) waxed into his chest...hope he thought it was worth it!
