It will take a while before our feelings about the songs and album solidify, but in the meantime what are people's first impressions? It will be interesting to see how that changes or doesn't, where people agree right now, etc. *Without listening for the lyrics, I like the sound of the album more than I thought I would. *Robby's 2 songs might be the best on the album in my opinion right now (again, based on how enjoyable they are to listen to, not the lyrics) *I haven't gotten into Keep the Car Running like many others have *I never need to hear More Of You again *I didn't like Last Hot Night when they first started playing it live, but I think it is much improved on the album *Thank you for actually having electric guitar, Bringing on the Light *I think I would like Slow It Down more if the lyric wasn't "Just shut your mouth." Just seems kind of jarring and odd to me. *What does "bringing on the light" mean? *I'm happy they tried to have John and Robby singing together again, but I'm undecided on whether or not I think John's backup vocals are a positive addition to Robby's songs *album feels VERY short *gut says the album is better than Let Love In...unsure how I would compare it to SFTROU at this point *there is no stand-out favorite track for me yet like I've had for all the others

I'm listening to it for for the first time now. Not sure how I feel about it yet. It's definitely a different sound than what attracted me to the band in the first place, but I haven't really liked an album since DUTG

indeed. haha...nice graphic! My 1st impressions about Magnetic: I listened to samples of it on Amazon, so I have yet to hear the songs in their entirety. After listening to the samples I got sidetracked listening to other stuff like Depeche Mode and Journey. But so far... uh...I prefer Gutterflower.

Long time, no post! I've listened to the album several times since its release and my thoughts: - Best songs on the album (in my opinion) are "Caught in the Storm", "BulletProofAngel", "Last Hot Night", and "Keep the Car Running" - Not really a fan of "Come To Me" or "Bringing on the Light" - "Happiest Of Days" is probably one of my favorite Robby songs ever - I agree with an earlier poster who said that "Last Hot Night" is much better on the album than originally performed live - Album feels shorter, even with the two live tracks Overall, I'd say this album is an improvement from Let Love In and SFTROU but I don't think anything will top SSCW (at least not for me... That album will more than likely always be my favorite GGD album).
