Virgin America to Host VH1’s Top 20 Countdown from 35,000 Feet

Virgin America will kick off its new Cancun service in style.
Today Virgin America will launch non-stop service from LAX to Cancun, Mexico.
Starting January 20, the airline will also begin offering direct Cancun flights from San Francisco.
Virgin America plans to celebrate the new routes in style, announcing that it will host a mile-high version of VH1’s “Top 20 Countdown” on the inaugural LAX to Cancun flight.
During the voyage, host Jim Shearer will sit down (in First Class) with Grammy-nominated artists the Goo Goo Dolls to discuss their latest album.
The show will also feature a cameo appearance from Virgin founder Richard Branson.
The "Countdown to Cancun" episode will air on VH1 on January 29 at 9:00 am EST.
