Goo Goo Dolls premiere Now I Hear SheKnows exclusive Goo Goo Dolls premiere! Joel D Amos The Goo Goo Dolls are back with the Something For the Rest of Us album dropping August 31. Always tuned into the latest and greatest, SheKnows is proud to premiere the Goo Goo Dolls’ brand new track, Now I Hear. NOW I HEAR IT ONLY ON SHEKNOWS! This is the only place in the world to hear Johnny Rzeznik and the boys’ powerful track of self realization before the album arrives August 31. Something for the Rest of Us is the Goo Goo Dolls’ ninth studio album. If you have had Goo Goo Dolls on the brain of late, it is with good reason. Their first single, Home, has been rocking the iTunes and Billboard charts since June. Now, with Now I Hear, perhaps a new single is borne! Songwriter and lead singer Johnny Rzeznik admits that it is with great care he and the Goos craft the songs that will bear their names for musical eternity. "I wanted some of the material on this album to address the disillusionment of the difficult period we live in -- I wanted to give a voice to the emotional uncertainty that accompanies hard times," Rzeznik said. "So many people are struggling to keep it together through tough economic conditions and two wars that seem to have no end in sight. The ones who bear the brunt of these burdens are everyday people. That’s who I want to speak to." The Goo Goo Dolls have been rocking our world for over two decades as they’ve sold 10 million albums. Yeah. I think he is fine with it though - it would be interesting to know if he would like one of his songs to be a single.

I think that the problem is that there are 2 singers in the band and obviously, the one that is more marketable will be chosen to release singles. If the goos was only Robby singing or if Robby had his own band, Robby may have had his own hits? Maybe he could have been more successful than John? I mean, if u had Bono and John in the same band, John would probably never had a hit. Many bands were successful or so so, but then when they breakup and the person in the background had a chance to be on their own, they are even more successful. I think that instead of choosing that path, the goo's learned to accept things as they are, value each other's friendship, and appreciate what they got. In my opinion, Robby has it all already. He could try to do a solo thing or whatever, but I think he knows how great he got it.
