I'm really looking forward to being in the pit at Darien on Friday night. Haven't seen the Goos since, damn, 2006. I think I was on my honeymoon last time they played Darien. Anyone else gonna be there?

| I can't wait. I just hope it's a decent set list and they don't incorporate too too much of the stuff from Something For the Rest of Us.

If the setlist is like it was in Detroit they played Home, Sweetest Lie, Now I Hear and the most amazing song called Not Broken. That was it from SFTROU. The rest of the setlist was a mix of all their songs. They started playing Can't Let It Go which I love and it sounds fantastic live. Have a great time and come back and let us know the setlist and how amazing it was.

They played As I Am too. I don't mind SFTROU stuff being in the setlist because I like SFTROU. Ditching most of the LLI stuff has made me awfully happy. I wish they kept in Flat Top from the spring or did We Are the Normal like they hinted they would, but when you HAVE to play the hits and you want to promote the new stuff, there just isn't much room for the uncommon older songs. It's gonna pour too. Perfect for the GGDs in Buffalo.

Yeah, I saw them in Iowa in May and was bummed when they didn't play Flat Top. It was great hearing Another Second Time Around though.

I've seen the Goos a bunch of times throughout the last 12-15 years and they were definitely "on" last night. Usually Robby is always into it, but on occassion Johnny may seem to be going through the motions. Not last night. Johnny really seemed to be enjoying himself up there. Setlist was great. I would have liked to hear "Naked" or "Long Way Down," but whatever. I thought the rendition of "Acoustic #3" last night was awesome, especially with the additional guitar part from Brad. I do like "Home" more now that I heard it live and felt the energy, but the chorus of the song still bothers me. The song is solid, but the chorus comes across as cheesy. Kinda ruins the song for me. The other songs they played from SFTROU were alright. I'm sure I'll really get into them when I finally have a copy of the album, but nothing really stood out to me as being a huge hit single. "Notbroken" is probably my favorite of the bunch. "Sweetest Lie" wasn't bad either, but I much prefer when they open the show with "Big Machine." Just something about "Big Machine" that pumps me up and I feel its a great song for the guys to start off the set with, especially the opening part of that song. It's funny, I wasn't a huge fan of the LLI album, yet last night, I really enjoyed hearing them play "Let Love In" and "Can't Let It Go." Makes me want to give that album another try. The place was jam packed. There had to have been close to 20,000 people there. From my view from the pit, there didn't appear to be any open space on the lawn. Kudos to Darien Lake, Live Nation, the Goos or whoever was responsible for setting up the pit for this concert. Awesome concept. Got my spot at 7:15 slightly to the left of center and was maybe 3 rows back. Perfect view, didn't have to wrench my neck to see the stage. (I had a friggin blast. I do apologize to anyone whose view I may have blocked. I'm not a giant, but being a six foot tall dude in what is a crowd of about 20 to 1 girl to guy ratio, you are bound to block some ladies' view of the show.)The pit was comfortable for Spill Canvas and Switchfoot, but by the time the Goos came on, we were packed in there like sardines. To people in the pit for future shows, when "Black Balloon" comes on and people are hitting black balloons in the air, just relax, it's a damn balloon! If it comes near you, hit it. Don't go out of your way like a maniac to go after it. I practically got punched in the face by one girl going for a balloon and had numerous elbows of people reaching to hit the balloon. Once again, it's a balloon people. I was debating on picking up one of the SFTROU 2010 Tour t-shirts all night and of course by the end of the show, I had such a great time, I had to pick one up! Sucker that I am. Anyways, I gotta see if I can get pit tickets for another stop on this tour.....

OMG, the stage. My neck was craned the entire time and I could honestly only see Robby and John and like, half of Brad's (Francois's) head. I am not bitching about being front row because I could have left at any point, but the height of that stage is ridiculous. It's easily 7.5 feet. Sorry about your balloon experience. Who knew balloons could be so dangerous?
