I saw this in today's Parade Magazine.

Q Are celebs paid to appear on Sesame Street?—Kathleen Stevens, Pasadena, Md.
A They get the minimum day rate of $705.90 to $740.08 a day. But the celebs—such as Jack Black, Heidi Klum, and David Beckham, all set to appear this season—don’t do it for the cash. “You haven’t truly made it in this industry until you’ve partied with Elmo,” says Black. “Now I know I’ve finally arrived.”
