This place seems to have slowed down a lot since I started visiting. I remember coming on here to find 20 users online. Tonight, I'm the only one! lol Where'd everybody go
Maybe things will pick up again once we get more Goo music.

It's always slow when the guys aren't touring.
I also think people are busy with school and work right now. Many have also left and gone other places.
There's usually someone around here.....just not 20 like in the past.

To me, most of the hardcore fans were of the sscw aboynamedgoo era. Dizzy was somewhat acceptable and disapointing at the same time, but it changed since then. The goos are more stable and mainstream since then, but mainstream ppl aren't hardcore fans. Now, we don't get albums like aboynamedgoo, but the ocassional awesome song like Big Machine and Let love in..the single. Most of everything else sucks.
Then u take in account the time it takes them to release albums. So for me, since aboynamedgoo, I only really like 4 songs...not really crazy about everything else. On the other hand, on aboynamedgoo CD, i love at least 5 songs to death...and really like the others. Add in SSCW...it's amazing.
To me, the goo's were once the most amazing band in the world with albums worth buying. Now, they're just a group that produce awesome songs once in a while, only worth downloading individual songs on your mp3 player

I stopped posting your birthday because you haven't posted here in over a year. I assume if you haven't posted in over a year that you're not here anymore at all. You have no idea how many birthdays I've posted for people who are just gone. So I started checking and made a rule if there were no new posts in a year then no birthday thread.
I posted your birthday last year and I don't think you responded. So this year I figured you were just somewhere else. Sorry  I hope you had a nice birthday.

no biggie..... I've just recently started posting a bit more. I've been working alot and time here doesn't usually permit me to post. So I just lurk without logging in. Usually by the time I log in I have a call I have to take and then I have to log out again. I don't even post on IM much. Just do alot of reading. I'm still here!

Tripper's good. We email every now and again and catch up. I don't see her much when there aren't shows.
I probably won't be going to NYE. It's just too hard with the kids to get away that time of year. Not too mention the astronomical cost of everything right now. Maybe when they get a little older.
Glad to see you posting again Kari. We've missed you around here. I remember how you used to make me laugh.
