It seems to be a really cool contest, but after reading all the pages, I don't entirely get the concept (bad english :/)
So, a band or a person alone can make a cover of any Goo songs. With both instruments or voice ? Video or audio format ? I didn't see the adress either.
I'm sorry if this infos are on the page and I didn't see it.

I think I'll take part in this contest, it would be a lot of fun for sure.
But I don't think you can send two participation, so I need to choose between playing bass and singing, haaard!
I'm better at playing bass but I enjoy singing so much!

4. You may submit no more than 3 entries in any one category.
I take that to mean you're allowed to send in up to 3 entries as either an individual or a group. So you could do both the bass and sing. Go for it. I can't wait to hear your entries.

I've contemplated doind this every year since I think 2005 and I've never actually done it. I don't know if I have anything I can decently record it with.

You know, I'm just playing bass for less than five months now, and even if my teacher keep saying I'm good at it, I still thinking that I suck. And I even never sing in front of someone!
So I really don't have any expectations for this contest, but I have the deep conviction that if you enjoy it, it's enough. And when you enjoy what you're doing, people can feel it for sure!
So I can make both, playing and singing, cool!
Or maybe I can try playing AND singing, but the only song I can cover like that (with really simplified bass lines) is Long Way Down. Maybe I'd try it.
