According to Robby's myspace blog, the Goo Goo Dolls are going to be performing on this week's episode of The Next Great American Band. Note that this week the show airs at 9 PM ET now, as it switched places with Don't Forget The Lyrics.

I think I'll dv-r this ep. Just because I want to see their performance. To be honest, I haven't been watching the NGAB, it's not the kind of reality show I can get into and like. Don't get me wrong, I'm not degrading the show in any way either, I just can't watch it.
Anyways I think I'll be going out Friday night so I'll have to dv-r it.

Well, John said the band wouldn't perform on the show, so it was only a matter of time before it happened... I hope when John performs he is fully aware of the criticism he doled out. I also hope their own sound guys get to handle it, because NGAB's sound is usually awful.
In happier news, yay for a new post by Robby.
EDIT for Shannon: I really don't know for this one. They said they'd promote FTS, but it seems like a bad idea to play a 'brand new' song for the first time on the show. And we all know they can't do Iris unless John plans on hitting all the notes... So I don't know. I'll say FTS or SWY.
(or BITL, which I keep forgetting exists)

I was thinking FTS too but you're right about them promoting it for the first time. It's the holidays ... maybe BD. Or there's always the crowd pleasing Slide.
