Two new 'Albums' ?!

Sorry if this has been posted before. I was reading this: "The four-time Grammy-nominated band also has two upcoming albums: “Greatest Hits Vol. I – The Singles,” to be released in November 2007, followed by a rarities collection in early 2008." Is the Greatest Hits Vol. 1 a compilation from all other bands? (And ironic how thats what John feared, regarding how he'd find it amusing if he was watching late night when name would start playing and the voice over started to talk.) http://blogs.trb.com/entertainment/news/blog/2007/09/goo_goo_dolls_judge s_announced.html

"Soon we realized that after doing this together for so long, we developed some talents that as a group tend to come naturally. We realized that we had a rapport among us and in that rapport was power. "And we realized that our day jobs (as the Goo Goo Dolls) didn't suck as bad as we had thought," he said, laughing (Robby).

Volume 1 is to be their greatest hits sung by the Goos themselves....no compilations from other bands. It's due out on November 13th. This is the tracklist.... Track Listings 1. Name 2. Iris 3. Slide 4. Broadway 5. Black Balloon 6. Dizzy 7. Here is Gone 8. Big Machine 9. Sympathy 10. Better Days 11. Stay with You 12. Let Love In 13. Before It's Too Late 14. Feel the Silence (new remix) Volume 2 is supposed to be the Goos rarities. I haven't seen a track list for this one yet. The link you have listed is to a new American t.v. show that John is participating in as a solo thing. He's to be a judge for the t.v. show The Next Great American Band. It's like an American Idol but for bands. The bands have to compete, much like American Idol, but they have to bring their own original material. John and the judges are supposed to offer guidance and constructive criticism to the bands. This show is completely separate from the two cds that are coming out.

Thanks! I haven't heard from Eva in over a year. I hope she is doing well. I know Adela has tried to contact her as well but neither of us have had responses from her.
