Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer?

Colbie just posted this on her MS Unfortunately I won't be at the Goo Goo Dolls show in Detroit on August 26th. I have to fly back to L.A. to perform on the Tonight Show (more details on that later!) but we'll make it back to Detroit real soon. Ugh! I was actually kind of excited for her. I've been listening to her CD! So...will they add another band? Will the Goos play longer? Will Lifehouse? Or nothing? I'm new to the whole concert things...so when someone cancels what do they normally do?

My guess is they might let Lifehouse play longer. We went to a show last year where the Counting Crows were supposed to open, but the singer was not feeling well. The Goo's played a longer set to make up for it.

I heard her in Muskegon and she really didn't do much for me either. I'm not upset she won't be there at Freedom Hill. I'd love a longer set from both Lifehouse and Goo. I really, really liked Lifehouse. These two bands are very well matched on the road.

Well hell yeah I would want Lifehouse or Goo more than her, but if they aren't adding anyone else or extending LH or Goo, I'm sad...

I'm sure one or both of them will extend their setlist a bit. But there's no way to know for sure until we get there.

It is probably too much to hope it will be the Goos, but I would still be happy with Lifehouse. Maybe they will get a local band from Michigan?
