Warner Bros. Records to Release "Transformers: The Album" on July 3rd BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - June 26, 2007) - Warner Bros. Records will release the original soundtrack to DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures' live-action robot fantasy film "TRANSFORMERS" on July 3rd, the same day the Michael Bay-directed movie hits theaters nationwide. "Transformers: The Album" features hit songs from some of the hottest established and emerging rock bands, including Linkin Park, Taking Back Sunday and The Used, as well as brand-new tracks from Goo Goo Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins, Disturbed, HIM, Armor For Sleep, Styles of Beyond, and Mute Math, who contribute an electronic remake of the original "TRANSFORMERS" theme. The first single is the Goo Goo Dolls' "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)," which is currently playing on the radio. It is the first track in the chart-topping trio's career that they've recorded and produced on their own. A video clip of the song, which will contain shots of the movie, was filmed recently on the roof of a 300-foot high building on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, which had been encased in printed construction wrap to advertise the film. The album also features "What I've Done," the smash hit lead-off single from Linkin Park's blockbuster #1 album, "Minutes to Midnight." Other tracks include Taking Back Sunday's "What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?" from their 2006 gold album "Louder Now," and the Used's "Pretty Handsome Awkward," the upcoming single from the platinum-selling band's current album "Lies For the Liars." Brand-new songs include Smashing Pumpkins' "Doomsday Clock," from the re-formed band's upcoming album "Zeitgeist," and HIM's "Passion's Killing Floor" from their forthcoming album "Venus Doom." For centuries, two races of robotic aliens -- the Autobots® and the Decepticons® -- have waged a war, with the fate of the universe at stake. When the battle comes to Earth, all that stands between the evil Decepticons® and ultimate power is a clue held by young Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). An average teenager, Sam is consumed with everyday worries about school, friends, cars and girls. Unaware that he alone is mankind's last chance for survival, Sam and his friend Mikaela (Megan Fox) find themselves in a tug of war between the Autobots® and Decepticons®. With the world hanging in the balance, Sam comes to realize the true meaning behind the Witwicky family motto -- "No sacrifice, no victory!" DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures Present, in Association with Hasbro, a di Bonaventura Pictures Production, a Tom DeSanto/Don Murphy Production of a Michael Bay Film, "TRANSFORMERS" starring Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Anderson, Megan Fox, Rachael Taylor with John Turturro and Jon Voight. Directed by Michael Bay from a story by John Rogers and Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman and a screenplay by Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman, the film is based on Hasbro's Transformers™ Action Figures. The producers are Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce and the executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian. I love MuteMath but I don't care for the Transformers Theme song by them. I wish they would have done a different song.

Is it MuteMath or Mute Math? I've seen it so different on so many places. Their CD cover has MuteMath but their MySpace says Mute Math.
