"Stay With You" Mystery Noise

When the album Let Love In leaked, I downloaded it, and then put it on my iPod. It wasn't until a few weeks later when I realized there was a strange noise in my copy of "Stay With You". I realize that sometimes downloaded CDs contain things like that, so I finally decided to buy the re-release of the CD, and to my surprise it was still there...what is it? It is bothering me. It sounds so out of place and strange. It is some point between 2:15-2:19, you will clearly hear a noise in the background.

I hadn't noticed a noise but I haven't listened to the CD with headphones on either. You can hear all sorts of things with headphones that you don't normally hear. I'll have to give it another listen.

It's due to the craptacular mixing and production of the album. And I'm not just saying that because I hate LLI. The mixing really is awful. I am a fan of weird awful sounds in cds stolen off the internet though.

Speaking of random sounds. You all know I'm a Keith Urban fan. In one of his songs you can hear a dog barking. It's quick but it's there. Keith left it in because it was so random he loved it.

It sounds like something happened in the percussion area of the world... If you listen to the beginning of the EAOC version of Acoustic #3, I swear there's a bird that chirps..... There is some strange noise somewhere in Savin' Me by Nickelback(If I tried to find it, it would remain lost....) It's like when someone sends you a message on MSN and you're looking at a different window. It's weird.

| I think I know what noise you're talking about. Does it sound like some kind of computer noise to you? Yeah I noticed that too when I first heard it. Very strange that they didn't catch it. It does sound out of place so I don't think it was on purpose.

LOL, I didn't even know the album was leaked online before it was released. I was in AGONY waiting for my copy, seeing as we were 2 weeks behind the US in terms of release dates! I can't hear anything on my version of LLI, but maybe it's because my headphones are crappy...

I'll have to listen to that to see if I hear it, but... I feel that way about Better Days. When BD first became available on iTunes, I bought it. It sounded so crappy to me, I heard all this "static" at the beginning of the song. So, I actually bought it again, thinking something happened in the transmission. Well, the second download had the same static. Then I bought the XMAS CD, and what do you know, the same crappy static. Then came the LLI CD, and yup, same static. So I have finally come to accept that this the way the song's supposed to sound. I guess this can become a marketing gimmick, to get fans to buy the same song multiple times. I mean geeze, I just realized I bought that damn song 4 times, and I don't even like it that much The static still annoys me every time I hear the song.
