well since i'm new and all i would like to know what your favortae songs and why. 
my favorate is "sympathy"- cause thats the most briliant song ever writtern (for me)

This is a great topic for discussion.
That's easy for me. My favorite Goo song also happens to be my favorite song by any singer or band. And that song is NAME. I think the lyrics are brilliant but more than that it's the emotions that song evokes when I hear it. It has to do with John's voice and the acoustic guitar but it just calms me and takes me instantly to my happy place. I don't know any other way to explain it.

Eh... I'll say Fallin' Down. It switches between that and Cuz You're Gone. No deep meaning for me, I just like 'singing' the guitar solos in my car...

That is a tricky question. I can't say I've got one FAVORITE.
Lately "Long Way Down" has been doing it for me, though.

I don't have any one favorite. It isn't fair to all the other good songs. I know for sure it wouldn't be anything off of LLI, the first release, or Jed. There are plenty of favorites scattered throughout the rest of the GGD catalog for me.
I guess it depends on my mood.
The other day ABNG was placed into the cd player in my car, and damn, but "Long Way Down" is a helluva good song to start off an album.
I do have a really bad habit of singing the guitar parts and drumming on the steering wheel when I hear a song like that though.

Mine is Iris.
It's the first song I fell in love with, along with a millon others.
But I find the lyrics have so much to say to me.
My second favourite has to be Domino. I dunno why, it just clicks.

My favorite Goo Goo Dolls song is Black Balloon. I don't really have a deep reason why, I think the lyrics are extremely powerful.
I also really like Cuz You're Gone and Truth is a Whisper. I guess my favorite songs really depend on what kind of mood I'm in at the moment.

Truth is a Whisper and Without You Here are my favorite Goo songs.....
I can't explain why I like Truth is a Whisper, just something about that song.....
Without You Here ---- the emotion that John puts into singing that song, especially live, is what draws me into that song the most.....
