Iris at work

I was stood in work yesterday talking to a customer when I heard something playing on the speakers. At first I couldn't really hear and then I almost despaired thinking It was Ronans version of Iris, I mean when else is Iris ever played in the uk? But to my delight I recognised that husky man voice of Johnny and as one of my coleagues walked by singing along was even more surprised she knew who they were. What a surprise

That makes me wonder, if you were in a public place per say, and a goo song did come on, would you stay in that place the entire time just to hear the song, or would you walk out of the store or wherever you were? I was in a store and they were playing name, and I stayed in the store while the song was playing, just looking around.

Haha! They played Iris at the beginning of my prom. Good times. I was waiting in an obnoxiously long line for drinks at the moment so I just stood there and swayed to the song... much to the dismay of my friend who was standing next to me and probably thought I was losing it. ' Usually I stay somewhere like a store or whatever if they're playing a Goo song (or a good song in general!) but it depends.

I was in a car with my friend the other day and she changed the station when Better Days was on. I questioned my friendship with her.

Last week we just pulled into the parking lot of Dairy Queen when Name came on. I made the hubby and kids sit in the car with me until it was over. It's NAME!!!

One time at a party, I turned on slide from my friends computer and a guy I knew started ripping on the dolls. I fought him for a while but he wasn't going to listen, so when I left I pissed in his rolled down window.

Hahahahahahahahahaha; Nate wins this one. Welcome to the board, btw! (Uh, and don't be weirded out by the bizarro usernames that some of us are using at the moment... we're not usually this overtly goofy, I swear. ) Red o, if someone turned the station when Better Days was playing, it wouldn't make me question my friendship with them, it'd probably solidify my friendship with them. ...yes, I still hate Better Days, sorry guys. Now, if it was Name or something, it'd be a different story...
