My Detroit pics!!

Here's the link to my Detroit pics. These are not my best but pretty great for Row Q. As the night went on and more people came my field of vision became narrower and narrower. So at the end John was about the only one I could see clearly. Mike's face was blocked by a cymbal but I did get one shot of him.

Very nice! I am always jealous of your photography skills. I did laugh at that one picture titled 'stagelights' with the tall guy on the side. He was almost the entire length of the photo. I can only imagine he is the tall guy who obstructed your view all night.
I was pretty surprised to see John wearing a rosary. Has he been doing that recently? I was always taught it was really inappropriate to wear a rosary unless you're actually praying on it and I remember John has said he wasn't a fan of organized religion (but maintained his faith in his own way). This isn't an attempt to start a "OMG John hates Jesus!" thread, I'm just kind of surprised...

These are amazing pictures!
I have some pictures from the show as well, but I was so far back I only got a good few shots that turned out.
Thank you for sharing these, It's nice to see it from a different angle of the theatre!!

LOL...yes that was the guy tall guy who obstructed my view. He was 3 rows directly in front of me like a wall. I had to lean to the left or trade with my husband to see. At the point I took the picture the seats hadn't quite all filled in so I could see relatively well by just moving over to the left a bit. As the show went on and more people came it was more challenging.
You were asking how to take pictures in another thread. I answered how I usually set up my digital. I can't remember what thread it was though.
As for the rosary ... I didn't even notice that...lol. Now I'm going to have to go back and look.

BUT I already got lucky so.....
By the sounds I prob wouldn't like the MnG anyway.... too little time.
