The mushy factor FRESH ON THE RACKS Compiled by MELODY L. GOH Ronan Keating Bring You Home Universal Music IF YOU’RE a guy in trouble with his other half, pick up this album and play a track, any track, and you’ll more than likely get a pardon. Ronan Keating, the most successful solo artiste to come out of Irish boy band Boyzone, knows what works for him. Ballads! Who cares about re-inventing oneself musically, especially since millions of fans seem to like him just the way he is? In this new album, Keating sings (in a more mature and less squeaky voice too) his heart out in each romantic number. Some of the songs are a little heavy on the strings, while a few seem to have utilised a full orchestra. Keating does a cover of Goo Goo Dolls’ Iris, and he does it well too. Other tracks include Friends in Time, This I Promise You, Superman and It’s So Easy Lovin’ You. http://www.star-ecentral.com/news/story.asp?file=/2006/7/20/music/148733 79&sec=music Stay True & Rock On!
