Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows: We're hard pressed to come up with a concert double bill that makes more sense than the Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows. These prime '90s rock bands were behind handfuls of great songs from the era. Counting Crows' "Rain King" and "Hanginaround" still resonate, while Goo Goo Dolls are remembered so fondly for "Iris" and "Slide." Catch them together at 7 p.m. Friday at UMB Bank Pavilion, and hold out hope for some sort of onstage singer pairing of Goo Goo's John Rzeznik and Counting Crows' Adam Duritz. Tickets: $29.50-$67.50.
